PM Style is the only show I watch on a regular basis. I watch because Lisa makes me laugh and the models are relaxed and cutting up. I love the dancing and could not believe they got Lisa to bust a move tonight! Great fun. I also like the selection of clothes presented, as opposed to regular shows. Sonnie

GET THIS, QVC IS NOT AN ADULT PROGRAM AND I DONT HAVE ANY CHILDREN THAT YOU SAY I HAVE TO CONTROL! GOT IT NOW?On 8/25/2014 luvtoshopathome said: I just don't understand some of you saying PM Style and QVC are adult shows. If they are adult shows, then they shouldn't have programming on 3 different channels 24 hours a day. If you watch 'adult shows' and think that QVC is one, I certainly don't get your way of thinking. So what you're inferring is that I can't have my friend over and we can't watch PM Style because my friend has a child? It's not children's programming. The point is,that you should be controlling what your children or your friend's children watch. Not controlling the rest of the world who does not find the programming objectionable.
There are many prime time shows that are not appropriate for children. As a parent, you should control the TV. Not the programming.
please read my post again. I said your friend's child.
I was speaking in general about parents, but if a child is in your home and you feel strongly about what's on TV, why not just change the channel?

I seriously doubt a single child was emotionally scarred by catching a glimpse of the dancing that takes place once in a while on the Q.
ETA - I find the idea of someone making their small child sit and watch the Q with them a whole lot more troublesome than fully clothed dancing!
No one said anything about "making" their child sit and watch the Q ... it's not like they sat the child in front of the TV and forced them to watch. Geez.
Did they offer the child an activity, a toy, a book to read, or a tv program in another room...something for him to do while they watched "the Q"? Doesn't seem so...so then what else was he supposed to do?

Oh, and if the clip I just watched online was the one being referenced here...no big deal for adult ladies to shake their hips to the music.
I hope CS is reading these posts and learns that we all don't think like the OP and the few others who've agreed with her.

I think the thing with Rene is that she might forget that she's on a shopping channel. She doesn't just do a little dancing. She twerks and sometimes it's full on booty grinding.....in the tightest pants possible. So.......yeah. I think people have seen the QVC commercial that shows the booty grinding in tight pants. It's the one with Lisa Robertson. No, I'm not verbally bashing Lisa Robertson or anything of the sort, so please leave me be, Lisa fans.
Anyway, if it makes QVC money, they'll keep doing it. Anyway, not trying to verbally bash anyone. To the OP, if you ever see a show on QVC called Women With Control, that's probably the best time to tell the little ones to leave or change the channel. There's really only a chance of that happening when that show is on......I think.

I haven't read every post here .... but for those who dislike her bumping and grinding, why not complain on her Facebook and Twitter accounts?
‎08-26-2014 02:20 AM
I've seen these threads complaining about Renee and the models over time and never understood the level of outrage expressed. This is the first time I've commented on the issue.
Of course we're all entitled to our opinions, and it's fine to express them here and by contacting the company if anyone chooses to.
In my case, I don't watch often but when I see the threads sometimes I turn on the show or look for the video in question. I try to understand the consternation of some of our fellow posters, but the music and dancing don't offend me. It looks like people having a bit of fun and silliness.
Is this the video causing the upset tonight? A225789
QVC is one long infomercial. Compared to tv ads airing all day on all channels, I have a hard time understanding how the occasional dance segment on the Q is so objectionable. If I wanted to complain, I'd be far more likely to address those ads.
The bottom line (no pun intended, I swear) on QVC is sales. By this time, if the complaints had outweighed those who like the presentations or have no opinion I sincerely believe the dancing would've been stopped.

I find that behavior offensive no matter when her presentations appear. I see no need for the dancing and wiggling when she presents her products. If they are as good as she says they are, there is no need to carry on like that. I continue to be surprised that QVC allows her to act that way. I don't see many positive remarks about her silly act. Let's put an end to it and just make her present her products without the stupid extas. I refuse to buy her products because of her presentations. I don't even bother to check if any of her products are tempting because I find her so offensive.
