You'd be surprised how easy it is to crochet!  I learned back in the Dark Ages when I was a little girl.  These days - there are all sorts of YouTube videos with instruction.

 

You should try it!  But beware!  It can be addicting and once you start buying yarn, it's very difficult to stop!  (And, there is no cure!  Smiley LOL )

@ALRATIBA My grandmother taught me how to crochet as a young girl but I never followed through and continued but you are right I should watch on you tube as the memories of her instructions ( and the special times) will come back..thanks for the encouragement!

Years ago when my daughter was 7 years old we were visiting family in upstate New York and my cousin, an avid knitter and crocheter, taught my daughter and at 31 years of age she still doing it! It's a very relaxing hobby isn't it?
