I purchased this IM dress last year.  Item # A640951.  Did not pay $85.  This dress is junk I am so sorry to say.  Waited to long to return and I do wear it to the beach, but not a $100 dress.  Dress prices are crazy on the Q.  I was so sad this dress was not as described.

@AvalonRose   I find that most of IM's dresses are too short for me, not to mention the ridiculous prices!

Re: QVC many cute dresses

[ Edited ]

The Q has been selling more dresses the past few years. Many seem to be very casual midi or maxi lengths and rather flowy. There are lots of tiered prairie prints and boho styles and a few column dresses. None of those appeal to me.

I prefer knee length wrap or sheath dresses which are more appropriate for singing at my church. Haven't seen many of those on the Q or in other stores. A YouTuber said they were out of style. Well, they may not be the most popular style right now, but IMO they're a classic.

SG had a couple dresses in my style I considered, but I didn't buy, because they were no measurements for the garments. KG had a wrap dress that I missed out on before it sold out, but the reviews aren't good. Guess I dodged one there.

I will keep wearing the dresses I have and continue looking for the styles I prefer.

Summer dresses for casual wear . I live in the Southern California and when summer comes this is what people wear . Not for work , just for fun . I buy what I can afford . I did not say anything in regard to price . My favorite shop is Talbot's .

@wilma You are lucky to have the body to wear wrap and sheath dresses, and to have a place to wear them (outside of work) these days.  I think QVC has to stick with things that are not so fitted to cut down on returns, and to be casual and more suited to cheaper fabrics.

I think Talbots has these styles and some good sales along the way if you keep an eye on their site.

This one is now down to $13 if you can wear XS.  It's like a t-shirt fabric.  I love the neckline and comfort, but hate the ironing/steaming since it wrinkles in the laundry.  I've gotten lots of compliments on it.

They have really pretty dresses and the selection is great. I think it's definitely improved through the years.
