QVC - NO MORE TRENDY CLOTHES!!! MORE CLASSIC CLOTHING STYLES!!!

[ Edited ]

Yes!!!!  Bring in another line of classic, tailored, sophisticated clothing. Something similar to Linea, but a little more preppy for those of us that like a neat, crisp, tailored look. Maybe womens no-tuck, no-wrinkle oxford shirts. Definitely no ruffles, no bell sleeves, no lace....  Classic designs only! #NOMORETRENDYCLOTHES#

Wow Denim and Co and Quaker Factory are so not trendy

I think they tried that with the Brooks Shield line and it bombed! (By bombed, I mean it didn’t sell well). For dressy work clothes, I buy from Talbots. Virtually all of my casual clothes are from QVC (largely LOGO).

Preppy?  Not for me.  I would never wear button down shirts...no thanks.

@I am still oxox  They’re nice and I love them, but mostly casual.  Not the classic, tailored, elegant styles I’m talking about. I mean more tailored, classic and preppy.

That’s cool. I’m just saying there should be something like that on offer at QVC for those of us that do.

have you looked at the Brooke Shields items? To, those are classy and timeless. Also, Isaac offers pieces, like blazers, sweaters, etc, that are classy and not trendy.

@Goldengate8361  Brook Shields attempted it but very poorly. She tried to combine preppy with trendy and it bombed. Plus her clothes were not quality made nor did she use quality material. Huge bell sleeves on an oxford shirt does not equate to classic clothing.  She also used ruffles and lace, also not typically classic or preppy, more trendy. I was disappointed in her line, but she is a great actress.

I think they prefer the loose casual styles because they will more easily fit more body types.  I also feel like that is the trend even for other clothing venues, stretchy or loose.  Well, except for sleeves.  For some reason sleeves are getting skinnier.
