I really enjoyed seeing these gorgeous fashions.  If I was young & thin I would love to wear most of them.  

I especially like #15, the black top & pink & black skirt.&  #  4 the pink lace with spaghetti straps.

No, she doesn't get it.  Good for you.  You have to take care of yourself first before you can be any good to others. Unless your daughter is footing the bill or helping with finances, it is NONE of her business.  I would have to tell her to butt out, take a hike, or however you wish to convey the message.    Stay strong, Vivian.

For me, the white pant suit is my idea of "Puttin on the Ritz" .....in fact that is what I wore for our wedding 44 years ago.

Vivian, your daughter was very rude. It's none of her business what you buy. I hope you told her that ,not calling her rude to her face, but telling her that it's your money to spend as you want.
