I love the whole outfit, color combo included. I will say she would look much better if the skirt was knee length, she is young and has the legs for shorter skirts.

I also think the sequined top would look better with a shorter skirt.

I think purple and rust can be beautiful together.

 

What I don't think works in the outfit is the fabric combination.
