I'm not opposed to all floral prints.  In fact, one of my favorite retail sites is Johnny Was.  I also like when Marla Wynne does florals, which is not very often.  I have one of her floral toppers that I love.

But the QVC designers and buyers seem to only want to sell florals just to hide & deflect a woman's size or lumps & bumps, as they frequently tell us in the presentations.  It's a disservice, in my opinion.

Prints have always been overwhelming on me. BTW, what happened to Tolani? She was always on but now with all the prints "so popular", you'd think she'd have her own shows.

I don't see many women here weraing those large flowred prints.

Large prints have one foot out of the door.  I wouldn't buy this.

I do not care for prints usually.   The rare exception would be some summer skirts or dresses.  Definitely not a printed polyester dress 😳

I do like print tops.  These are some I got from QVC over the past few years.  Mostly Tolani, Attitudes and LOGO.  One is Laurie Felt.

Prints are very subjective. It's very difficult to find a print that everyone will like.

I prefer small to medium geometric and abstract prints in various colors. I love stripes, but I'm not a fan of polka dots. I like neutral animal prints and some paisley prints too. I also like whimsical prints with animals on them.

Florals are my least favorite print because they tend to be very large bold colors, realistic garden florals, or prairie florals. I don't like those styles. I have a few abstract floral prints in 2 colors which are more my style, but the ones I have were bought many years ago. I haven't seen anything like that in a very long time.

If you'd like a good discussion on what a good print is, on you tube is a quite good stylist.  Her name is NaDa.  She knows her stuff!

@ECBG

I've watched some of her videos. She's very good, but like most fashion YouTubers, I don't always agree with every tip and suggestion they offer.

Regarding her discussion of prints....

I agreed with most of her video about prints, but there were a few prints she suggested as modern that I would never wear. She also said we should stop wearing paisley. She said it was old fashioned because we never see younger women wearing it. Maybe that's true, but I like some paisley prints and plan on keeping and wearing mine.

When all is said and done, I think we all should wear what we like, what fits our lifestyle, and makes us comfortable.

@wilma

I totally agree with you about paisley which has always been a favorite of mine, and now in short due to the "issue".

Of course you should wear what you feel comfortable in which all stylists repeat throughout their posts.

@evergreen As much as i love flowers the Home Depot garden dept isn't a look I can pull off.   As far as her animal prints, I love a good animal print and I may have loved the Flintstones growing up, but I just don't feel like sabertooth tiger is a good choice for a 5ft tall woman.   Tropical prints have their place in the summer.  And they can be done really well.  But when I feel like I AM the jungle I have to take a pass.  I loved her early stuff, the newer stuff not so much.  For those that can pull of that much color and pattern bless you I just don't have that much confidence.
