The prints shown lately just seem to be so outlndish and bizarre. I just can't imagine wearing the one being shown now.

If you’re referring to the dress just shown by Rene and Amy , I couldn’t agree more.
It really hurts me because I love Rene’s dresses but these prints are beyond awful.

I could never see myself wearing any of Renee's prints.

She told Amy her inspiration for these prints tonight was from seeing a woman in Palm Beach wearing an expensive designer dress.  Later Amy said Dolce & Gabbana, and Renee said yes, that's the designer.

Still, no thank you.

well there's inspiration and there's gaudy reinterpretation

I like geometric or abstract prints in bright colors.  We seldom see those anymore.  Everything is big florals, with an emphasis on roses, that make the wearer look huge.

The last few years the prints have been UGLY.  I don't know why they can't create some decent smaller prints that aren't roses and suitable for someone 90 years old.

If you'd like a good discussion on what a good print is, on you tube is a quite good stylist.  Her name is NaDa.  She knows her stuff!

I believe that comment from Renee was less about inspiration and more about name dropping that she was in Palm Beach

Maybe something was lost in translation!
