My fashionista cousins turned me on to amazon for clothing buys. Bought a few Pima cotton tee shirts that are fabulous and much less money. . Sorry, I will not pay qvc prices except for Dennis Basso and his Blazers. There is nothing special about QVC fashion that you can't find similar items on Amazon and you do get reviews from people who own the items with pictures.

The thing about Amazon is that one doesn't always know what one is getting.  The materials may be inaccurately described, and the fit is all over the place.  I use it for really inexpensive things, or things that I know what to expect.

The best thing about Amazon is that they have so many reviews, and when people include pictures in them.

There's always cheaper clothing to be had, but most the time the quality is not there. I went to Macy's today, and was very disappointed, the quality of their clothing has gone downhill. Not impressed with Kohl's clothing at all.
Talbots has some cute things this season and they are expensive, but with discounts they are a little lower than QVC. I normally don't buy anything from QVC unless it's on sale or clearance.

I agree; Macys quality and Kohls, is not as good as Kim G. Or Susan G. and they should not be compared. When I go to Kohls things look nice but they just don't fit as well, period.

I disagree with this statement. Susan Graver has definitely gone down in quality.  I purchased her line when she first came out and some just a few years ago.  I can definitely see and feel the difference in her clothes. She has changed manufacturers for sure.  With that poor quality I also find her sizes are inconsistant.  I no longer purchase her clothing.

I think Susan Graver is better now, in that she is not all poly.  She never gave me a great fit though.

Now having more petites clothes makes QVC better. Petites sections disappeared from stores.

And actually, the reason I started shopping at QVC is because, even for regular, their clothes are easier fit on us shorties.  In the stores, the clothes are for people with long torsos, long arms, long legs.  The necklines often too low for me, because my torso is short; the shoulders are too wide.

Some QVC clothes are still too wide shouldered and too long torsoed for me.  Like Isaac, D&C, Belle.  Have to look at measurements, and QVC has them, thankfully.
