I'm sure skinny jeans will stay around forever, but the stores are showing a lot of straighter leg jeans. I purchased 2 pr. from NYDJ (Nord. Rack, of course) and love the look. I was able to find their "Cool Embrace" fabric which is lighter weight and perfect for summer.

@Shanus Just purchased 2 pr. straight leg jeans, also. I am trying the ankle length as I always have to have even the petite length shortened. Did not receive yet.

@Janey2 Always purchase ankle length when available and first choice is cropped which is usually 24"-25" inseam. Yes, cropped on a "normal" person, but the perfect ankle length or full length w/o hemming for me.

@Shanus Being completely honest here. Not sure what the difference is between skinnies and straight. I sorta use the terms interchangeably, but I know that is not technically correct. Is is just the closeness to the ankle? Or do straight jeans need to be loose/straight from the top of the thigh to the ankle?

I don't like the look of skinny jeans and so I generally only wear the straight leg jeans and pants. Just a better look for me.
I always have some light weight wider leg bottoms for warm weather.

I have purchased straight leg pants/jeans/crops since my last pair of bell bottoms in the 1970's. Always will.
I have good legs and hips, so that's what fits and looks best on me. And what is a classic look.

Straight leg pants have always been my favorite. They are so much more flattering on my pear shaped frame than bootcut and skinnies or flares.

@NYCLatinaMe straight leg pants have the same width all the way down the leg from the hips to the ankle.

Straight leg jeans are my favorite. I've been wearing them forever. I never stopped wearing them even when other styles were trending. I have more straight leg pairs than any other style. Classic and figure flattering on any body shape IMO. My favorites are Levi's straight leg jeans.
