I don’t care for full length straight legs jeans, but I like ankle, cropped or cuffed. I’ve transitioned from skinnies to jeggings, more comfortable but similar look.

I only wear the straight leg varieties. I don't do any "fitted" styles like jeggings.

@Shanus Being completely honest here. Not sure what the difference is between skinnies and straight. I sorta use the terms interchangeably, but I know that is not technically correct. Is is just the closeness to the ankle? Or do straight jeans need to be loose/straight from the top of the thigh to the ankle?
These are drawings, they do not show how jeans fit people. Anyone can draw anything, but once you put a body in, depending on the material, the fit can be different.

Thanks @Lipstickdiva. Based on your definition, straight leg jeans will appear wide pants on people with wider hips. I have always thought straight jeans were just straight from the knee to the foot.
I have wider hips, and have never liked on me what you refer to as straight leg pants because they make me look like I have elephant legs, which I don't. So pants that taper down towards the knee, and then straight or boot cut for me. I guess jeggings are the style that is close to the ankle, which I also wear.
I guess for those with slim hips, straight jeans are a good fit

@NYCLatinaMe It may be a differrent concept for others, but for me, straight jeans come down straight (not full) from the hip...still narrow at the ankle, but no where near as tight at the ankles as skinnies.

It's been my experience that the leg (more like foot opening) opening helps determine how the pant legs are classified.
I do not wear jeans but when it comes to pants, most of my pants are considered straight leg. I do have a few dressier pants that are flare or baby palazzo.

@ECBG Since I don't like leggings, jeggings are not a choice either.
Girl! I'm sure you have the figure to rock anything at all!!!
@ECBG That's sweet to say, but I'm not comfortable with others seeing "my parts"...that's what happens with leggings unless you cover yourself w/ a very long top. That's just not my best look.
