Size up.  If you are wearing a size large & it's too tight, wear an x-large.  Simple ,easy.  There I said it .Sorry.

Don't apologize. ITA  Especially jackets that are buttoned tightly across the middle.

They probably have to wear what the wardrobe supervisor selects

I get what you are saying, I mean the point is to show the garment to advantage, so don't pour the model or host into it.

And then they talk about how great it looks on the model that it doesn't fit.

TOTALLY agree!!

Everyone should wear whatever size they need to wear and not hope to wear - including the models!

(Must admit, I would look pretty silly and be extremely uncomfortable wearing a size too small, and be totally ready to rip it right off and throw it in the trash!!).

The models don't choose what they wear. If they were to object to wearing an item, they would probably be fired. They are hired to wear what is given them.

I always wondered about that. If they choose their own size of clothes surely somebody doesn't make them trot out in something that doesn't work on them.

Wouldn't be showing the clothes in the best light.

Sausage Stuffing - Would like to have a chat with the models - do they wear a smaller size then they should only because they don't want to announce - I'm wearing an XX Large.  So many of them look terrible (especially in jackets) - buttons & b holes don't even come close to meeting, their bust are half in the (jacket) and half out.  I assume a 'dresser' in the back room selects what they will model - - but that look certainly doesn't appeal to me.  No sale here.

This is one of my pet peeves. Jackie the blond model who is so beautiful and has a lovely figure was shown wearing an Isaac lace top this morning in her regular size large.  It was so tight, she looked like she could hardly breathe in it. She looked like a huge overstuffed sausage.  Not flattering at all and like I said, she is a beautiful woman with a beautiful figure. Not all clothing designs are cut the same.  I know that sometimes I take a M and sometimes a L depending on the cut of the garment and the fit.  I don't know who sytles the models but they are awful.  There is no shame in going up a size if the garment fits you correctly, looks great and is flattering.  I just don't get it.
