Like most fashion trends every few print shoes are hot. I really like them as I love most things colorful and/or printed. However, print shoes are not something I would spend more than $100. I would also wear them a lot, because unlike those a great nude pump or sandal-- you won't love them next spring/summer.

BTW: Mtnbikegirl, this is the second year Madden is offering those woven shoes. I bought a pair in 2014 and found them to have a wide fit. Mine were forever slipping, but my feet lean toward being narrow. I even tried a second pair from another brand in a smaller size and got the same loose fit. That said, if you have true medium width or wider feet then the fit may be great for you.

Back in the early 60's my mother wore printed, usually flowers, pumps with solid, silk shantung sheath dresses.
