People are different sizes, different shapes, different colors, different ages, and more.
I noticed in another Fashion post here that Collina Strada had a mature/senior model in the NY Fashion Week show.
I removed the picture of the model so that more focus can be made on the question:
Would you like to see increased focus on models of different ages in major fashion presentations (including NY Fashion Week & other important shows) ?

It wouldn't matter to me at all.
I'm just interested in what they're wearing - not who's wearing t.

Yeah, I would. However this older model shown in the orange "outfit" looks like she is escaping from a mental institution and can't get away fast enough.
There are some fabulous older models with silver hair, and even the super models of the 80's are still active - think Elle Macpherson, Linda Evangelista, Cindy Crawford, Paulina Porizkova, etc....Christy Turlington and Naomi Campbell and Nikki Taylor are still featured in ads and seem to be ageless.
It'd be nice to see some older models who are not familiar faces model some great stuff.

@Desert Lily Zero interest here- until the fashions are remade for the mass market, I don't care who models them. As presented, I am convinced to have no interest in either the outfit or the designer.

@Desert Lily. I do agree that showing fashion on different body types and ages would be a plus. As for the model in the photo....well, let's just state the obvious; fashion week attire is often outlandish. It's just a ploy to have their models photographed and their brand put out there.

As far as the age or size of the model is concerned ..... I be more than happy if the clothes actually fit the model.
Total turn-off when the models look like they are wearng the smallest size they can squeeze into.

@ALRATIBA ITA and the same goes for a host who does this, or at least maybe the stylist does this "to" her.

Yes, but would like to see them in good shape. Not skinny, just a representation of what the medical community considers healthy.
I think it's about time older women are given the opportunity to be represented in what has been an overly youth obsessed culture. They have a lot to offer.
Of course, they come younger than these beautiful ladies below. There are modeling agencies specializing in older models from 45 on up.
Daphne Selfe, 83, who has been modeling since 1949. She said she will never retire.

Carmen Dell’Orefice, 85, modeling since 1946.
