Wow! Watching a rerun of the NY Fashion Show on QVC and Shawn just said Maria was 80! I always loved how she moved with such grace and had no idea of her age. Keep on, Maria!

I thought dark haired Maria was beautiful, too. She always reminded me of Connie Francis. DB seemed to be a big fan of them both.

She was the only QVC model that walked in Dennis Basso’s actual runway show. Unless I missed something. He loves her.

The last outfit with the skirt and oversized coat was so elegant on her. She is stunning.

@LTT1 I think it is the ability to be active in the first place--to afford the money and time to be active and not work and worry yourself to death and wear your body out to keep going.

Somewhat true, and generally, I agree.

I have known active people who died young and inactive people who lived longer. Some people can't be as active due to issues beyond their control. Lots of factors involved.
