Reading the thread on slim leg jeans, got me thinking about how we want our jeans fit. I do not wear my jeans really tight regardless of the leg style or where the waistline hits on me. Same regardless of the fabric composition (doesn't matter if 100% cotton or not) or whether there is a lot of stretch. I have never bought nydj jeans because I consider the models presenting them to be in too tight jeans. This preference isn't new for me or changed over time. Just want my jeans to lightly skim my body, not tightly "hug". What are your thoughts?
No judgement here, just curiosity.

Same here, I like comfortable jeans like boyfriend jeans. The versatility is fun with the cuffs when pairing with different shoes.
Have plenty of jeggings / leggings but have moved away from wearing those much any longer.
May have to wear them this winter though with snow boots when shoveling that stuff.

I like my jeans fitted, hugging my curves. I really don't like NYDJ jeans, they have too much stretch. I usually wear my jeans with 2 percent spandex. I buy most of my jeans from the gap, which have a high content of cotton. I used to love Levi's, but they also have a high content of spandex in their jeans.

Fitted and no wide-leg, 'elephant pants' I call them. I like slim-leg, jeggings and classic straight-leg. I've been-there-done-that with bootcut, flares or bell-bottoms...whatever you call them...from the '70s so those I don't wear any more.

I've recently switched to wearing my jeans a bit looser.
I never liked or wore super stretchy skin tight jeans, but I did wear jeans that were more fitted and definitely hugged my thighs & behind a bit. As I've aged, I've decided I want them a bit looser. Not baggy; just a bit more room, especially in the legs and rear. I've been buying a size up to get the look I want.

I dont like tight jeans, never have. I wore them more fitted when I was young and thin. Now I like the boyfriend look a tad oversized. My non boyfriend jeans are either flair or bell bottoms, I still have some skinny leg jeans and I dont wear them as much. guess Im just an old hippie at heart, hence my nickname.

I don't like tight clothing of any kind on me, including jeans. I have some slim leg jeans, but they don't fit me like tights. I don't like the look of horizontal pulling across the legs and thighs, front or back. So I guess I wear my jeans a little baggy.

I use my mirror as my guide. I have a rather narrow body - no curves.
I don't wear slim leg pants. Most of mine are straight leg style.
I do have a couple of bootcut, and several pairs of wide leg. Love boyfriend cut!
I bought a pair of NYDJ from Chico's about 3 or 4 years ago that are straight leg. Not anything at all like the ones they are selling on QVC.

I need the waist to fit, I have a tummy this days--not a fan of zippers --have many pull ons that have the wide waistband. I prefer straight legs, not skinny but slim-ish. Can wear jeggings/leggings but I go up a size as I don't like them skin tight. Also stand in front of my full length mirror and inspect from all angles before I go out in public. I do like the knit denim alot but have cotton mixed with other things. Am loving Democracy brand right now. Have really nice slim pants by rhonda shear--they are more poly mixed with other and fit amazing. they feel good and look really good.

I like boyfriend jeans, wide legs (not too wide) and straight legs. I could never wear leggings, skinny jeans or jeggings....I have knock knees and they just emphasize that. A look I don't want to show off.
I like my jeans snug but not tight.
