""Fair Isle"" is a multi-syllabic phrase?
I count two syllables in that term. What am I missing?

I'm only watching this show to get the sweater but I avoid Shawn whenever possible. She's so loud, talks over her guests and just drives me crazy. She's too over the top for my taste. I keep turning the volume down/up/down/up.
Isaac keeps trying to talk about the product but she just butts right in. Get her off.

I just saw the video and I think what Isaac did made it seem as if he is better than everyone else and is the vocab police. Please, no one is perfect. If you cannot say something nice about someone then do not say it. By throwing in a compliment like you are pretty and then practically saying you are dumb just does not make sense. There is a time and place for that and it is not during a presentation but after the show as to not make a big scene out of it. Rude.I think they post questions that a viewer might ask to keep them informed. I don't necessarily think they are playing stupid/dumb/cute.

These hosts are selling clothes, and they should have some training in terms that a clothing designer would use. And if Albany did not know what it meant, then graciously ask the meaning rather than accusing Isaac of using too big words for her poor widdle brain to handle. Seriously.
I know what FairIsle is, and so do a lot of women who are interested in clothes. The hosts who present jewelry seem to be pretty well versed in all sorts of gems, then why can't the hosts who sell clothing be acquainted with various clothing terms? Or is that too much for some of them to handle? Be careful Albany or you will be relegated to the fitness shows and food shows along with Dan Wheeler.
I agree. After all, the Fair Isle design has been around for a very long time - why wouldn't someone presenting clothing know that term? Or for that matter, know that it's two words, not a "multisyllabic" word?
She showed her ignorance and I think it was totally unprofessional of her to hurl that accusation at him. When she asked "Did you just call me dim?"...well, if the shoe fits.
She is the one host that I cannot watch; I can put up with the idiosyncrasies of all the others, but not hers. I checked out the video for this item to see exactly who said what and IMO she was in the wrong. Her job is to give the information to the customer, not to reprimand the vendor. Perhaps the PTB at the Q will take Isaac's advice and buy her a dictionary.

She said multisyllabic words. Fair Isle is two words. She apparently never heard it before, and thought it was one word, and still it wouldn't qualify as multisyllabic. The multi in multisyllabic refers to "many; more than two" webster. The word isn't usually used to refer to phrases, for obvious reasons.
