What is this all about? It seems they want us to get cozy with the hosts and like them so we get cutesy talk, talk about trips, family, and what they use. It backfires with me. I am not a needy old lady who needs friends in the form of a TV salesman. I don't so their blogs, Facebook,etc because hello, I really don't know them, they are not my friend. I wish it was old school selling. The product and what the procduct can do for me. Not gushing, loving, used this on my trip, I have 3 of these (so you will want them) too, and so on. As I said before, I don't watch Q on TV. They are losing sales with me if they care. Mary Ann is close to old school, professional selling. Watched her last Sat per chance while on treadmill and she sold me 5 pieces of jewelry.

ITA but she isn't cute and comes across as pure PHONY. What do you think of that whiny, sing-songy, voice she uses at times? OMG, she must have been spoiled rotten and used that to get her way.

Last night, I happened to tune in and could only stand about 15 min. She was on with a live audience and mingling with them while praising Jesus and the piano playing in the background reminded me of one of those charlatan preachers (Tammy Faye Baker?) about to pass the collection basket.

At one point, she was selling a scooter for handicapped people and of course, started talking about her "mom" and how she can't move and could have used this to attend some event if she'd had one (if I did not misunderstand what she said). At first I paid no attention but then thought to myself what BS as I am positive she was selling this same scooter at least a year or so ago. I don't remember what she said about her mother then but am thinking she was raving about how much it helped her mother be part of things due to her mobility issues and how much her mother liked it. Certainly she could afford it especially since Shawn was bragging recently when she was hawking Bose that the parents HAVE TWO and so does she and "her Joe" or some other family member!

She remarked to Isaac that "she didn't know we were in Lent" only about two weeks ago. Shawnie Sue must have been devastated to realize she'd missed a chance to sell that ring of hers with a sob story of some kind or didn't use Easter to her advantage to hawk it along with all the clothes Issac was presenting.

As others pointed out recently, she speaks with a forked tongue re. the "My Pillow" as Joe and her dad have them but can't sleep and have to go to a sleep clinic.

Shawn Killinger has zero credibility IMO.
