Why would anybody dress up a stuffed bear in pajamas and have it hold a bowl of popcorn and a remote? I'm sorry that's very sad

Sadder than a bunch of middle-aged women (yes, I'm being kind) sitting around on a Sunday afternoon posting on a shopping channel message board? That seems pretty sad to me, but no, I'm not sad...I'm happy! I hope you are too. Heart

C'mon brii, lighten up. It's fun and that big adorable bear is a cute accessory in her gorgeous home. There's nothing sad about it.

'looking to sell'?  Okay Minnie Pearl.Woman LOL

Why, oh why, do some people have to pick apart a post like this? There are speech idioms everywhere, many are regional and are perfectly acceptable. This bulletin board is not exactly the Harvard Review!

Eh, sorry, but I'm not going to be polite to someone who posts an ignorant rant about Lisa or any of the other hosts.

If this thread was about anything else, I would've held back, but nope, not here.

Lookin' to sell? Sounds like it pairs nicely with "Fixin' to buy!"

That's LR is planning to do.  She has to make a living, she's only 50 or close to it.  If this teddy bear thing is trure, if the costume jewelry thing is true; she is exploring the possibility of online retail.  I t

If Lisa had not left of her own choice there would not have been an announcement long before she left nor would there have been a goodbye party on her last show.

When an company like QVC decides to give an employee the boot there is no fanfare, no long goodbye. It's one day you see her, the next you don't. Your theory makes no sense.

Eh has two meanings depending on where you place it in a sentence.

At the begiinning of a sentence it's a word meaning confused.

When used at the end of a sentence it's to show it is a question. It comes from the origins of Northern Canada.

I guess sales people sell things, but not understanding the stuffed animal thing. Who is her target customer? Not typical QVC customer.

I'm very happy.  I'm glad you're happy too.

Dressing a bear up in pajamas and posing for a picture with it is just so odd to me.  Yes, it's very sad that someone would do that.

No, actually it's fun and to see. I guess we'll just have to agree to disagree.

But hey, even with this as our Sunday source of entertainment we both agree that we're happy. That's something. Smiley Happy
