I am wondering if anyone can advise me on Laurie Felt's sizing. I have ordered only a couple tops from QVC (Isaac Mizrahi and Aran Craft) and I found both to run a couple sizes bigger than at brick and mortar stores.

Does Laurie Felt clothing run big as well?  TIA!

@BExplorer  I just posted something regarding her sizing.  In my experience it has always been inconsistant.  But if you are lucky enough and it does fit, the fit is great.

I would recommend going with your true size to start.   I havea couple jeans and tops from her line.

Hi @LindaSal and thanks for the feedback!  Good to know that I should start with my regular size, rather than QVC size which are vastly different.  😊

I cannot advise you on the sizing of her tops, however I do know about the sizing of her jeans.  I purchased her Boyfriend jeans in the size 18 petite.  I've worn that size for a long time. As soon as I looked at them at home, they looked WAY too big. I was horrified until I tried them on. WAY too large.  Especially around the waist.  Sent them back for a 16 petite.  They fit!  The waist was much lower than described but they fit!  Two hours later, I found myself constantly pulling my jeans up. By dinner, they were sliding off my rear.  I've never had jeans that stretched this much in my life (including DG2).  I kept them because the return shipping charges were getting seriously stupid. I went out and bought a pair of men's lee jeans for $20 and they fit pretty dang good.  seriously!

Oh no, @BarbaroN8Belles I'm sorry the jeans were such a problem!

My LF Boyfriend jeans are on this on the way back.  I have one older pair of her jeans that actually fit but are pretty much worn out.  I'm so tired of all this STRETCH they think is wonderful. It would be if it snapped right back to fit. I believe I'm done. I've spent too much on shipping ro receive them only to pay more to ship them back.  When they fit on the models, I love them.  I guess they just are not cut for my the size of my waist vrs. my flat, pancake buttocks (ugh!).  None of her rises fit me either.  This last pair of Petite sat so low on my hips they were exactly like the 'hip hugger bell bottoms' we wore in 1970!

In general, I like high-waisted jeans.

I don't know anything re: LF jeans.

I do know that my natural waist is about 4 inches smaller than where the waistlines on pants/jeans are.

So when we measure, if we are measuring at our slimmest area (true waist), we could be 'off', as where the actual waistline of the garment is inches lower.

Does that make any sense?  Sorry for the confusion.  Just thinking to myself, as usual.

I know, sounds confusing.  It's just that I continue to wonder.

Anyway, good luck with LF jeans.  Same with NYDJ.  I do like the look, but I'm afraid to size down. ( I don't like tight-looking jeans as on the models. Wonderful on them, but I like more relaxed on me.)

'More or less', 'Right or wrong', 'In general', and 'Just thinking out loud ' (as usual).
