Re: Lady In White

[ Edited ]

I read an article a while back saying, Blake & Ryan make a beautiful couple.  I agree. They are both some of Hollywood favorites. I agree.

But what struck me w/ this article observation was,

...for as famous as Blake Lively & Ryan Reynolds are....

no one knows who they are or what makes them celebrity.

They are both very ‘blendable’ with the background.  I agree.

I mentioned this to a friend who’s in to the celebrity news...and even they paused when asked, ‘what movies were Blake Lively in?’..and ‘what movies were Ryan Reynolds in?’   They are both strong supporting actors.

Even though Blake Lively is considered (like Diane Keaton,

Scarlett Johansson, Kristen Stewart, etc) to be a muse to Woody Allen,

Blake Lively’s movies are not memorable.

Almost a ‘famous for being famous’ scenario.

Their “milquetoast” work & living will carry throughout the Hollywood years. They both have a ‘slow burning fire’ & won’t burn out fast like many couples.  At least I hope...!

I agree about Blake Lively to some extent (although she was in "Gossip Girl" years ago, and I think many who are younger than I know her from that). But Ryan Reynolds is Deadpool! Those movies did extremely well at the box office. Maybe it's because I have a 16-year-old son who is into all of the Marvel universe stuff, but Ryan Reynolds is very well known for those movies.

@jonbon

I just read his Wiki page...I forgot he was married to Scarlett Johansson.

Unusual coincidence since Blake & Scarlett are both connected

to Woody Allen...and now Ryan Reynolds.

I always thought I was alone with the ‘who?’ thought w/ both of them...

that opinion article validated the fact I wasn’t the only one thinking that!

🤣

And now there seems to be a glut of actors named ‘Chris’ who are

casted as Hollywood Action Heros...and they all kinda/sorta look the

same. 😀

I didn't know who she was, but I can tell you that Aviation gin is cheaper and just as good/better than Tanqueray. Smiley Happy

I have a box of "onesies" that I've kept in the hope that its mate will one day show up.  Some of my favorites are in that box.

Wearing mismatched earrings has been around for quite some time (years).

Absolutely -- I get the names mixed up sometimes: Chris Pine (Capt. Kirk from the Star Trek movies, Steve Trevor from Wonder Woman); Chris Pratt (Peter Quill from Guardians of the Galaxy, Owen Grady from the Jurassic movies); and Chris Evans (Steve Rogers/Capt. America).

I recall Blake Lively is known for not using a stylist. She is also someone who is usually always dressed beautifully.

I read somewhere that she was 5'10".  However, with those heels, that would make her husband very tall.  She's probably more like 5'8".  Nice looking couple.  I didn't recognize either one of them.

@San Antonio Gal

The first thing she starred in, that I'm aware of, was the show Gossip Girl. Since then she's done quite a few movies. Ryan Reynolds got his start on Nickelodeon! LOL I remember seeing him on the show 15 which was a bizarre teenage soap opera. I know this because my daughter watched a lot of Nickelodeon back in the day
