I love her clothes but not the prices. I wait for clearance, lunchtime and late night specials and I also buy Logo from Zulilly which is owned by QVC.

Re: LOGO Prices

[ Edited ]
Watching Logo on mute, LG over the top tonight. Simply hit mute I'm good to go. Not owning any Logo, Price point isn't issue with me. Pick and choose wisely, Know what I like and more importantly what I don't. Logo isn't a good look for my body nor my style. Realize that many enjoy layers and so-called boho chic. Being from NY Logo isn't my idea of boho or soho or noho (north hollywood) every time see Jacki model like just now, gasp! she's beautiful and so is her body, but imo Logo not flattering at all. Many will disagree, No problem. Look at it this way, Fact, I will NEVER->Purchase Logo, Means more, Logo for you.😍

I have noticed the price of everything has gone up to a point I hardly ever buy new. Cars sell for what a house once sold for! Color me cheap but I go to many auctions these days. As far as clothing I shop more on E-Bay or a clearance. Last month at the beach I saw a SLICE of pizza was selling for 6 bucks!! REALLY? Sad thing really and as long as people will pay the price this practice will continue. I will not enable it myself. I do wear some LOGO and I now look for it on E-Bay. Is just me and my budget is very small and I refuse to pay to play anymore. I am satisfied with my meager lot in life at this point. Maybe if folks would refuse to pay the prices (even if they can??) those prices would become more reasonable. Then again maybe I am dreaming LOL. (I always refer to Boston Tea Party and other events past when unfairly taxed people used to do something about it ..like revolt hahaha)

@Stormygirl: I agree that if the public refuses to buy things they think are overpriced (even if they can afford them), that will force the prices to go down. It's the simple concept of supply and demand. Of course this works better for items that are "wants" rather than "needs."

i buy a few things at regular price......and wait for some to get marked down. other items are not tempting at all. if it isnt for you, it isnt for you.

i enjoy some of the items in the line.....not everything.

@winamac1  WAIT.....and then IF sizing is wrong, you've got the whole return shipping fees and if requesting an Exchange.....Now you're talking over $100.

Yes, and that happens often due to such inconsistencies even between colors in the same top in her line!  Ugggh!!

@Sweet Serenity,   one of the major reasons the clothes do not look flattering on model Jacqui is that most of the time she needs a size larger than what she is wearing.  Clothes that are ill-fitting do not flatter.   If you watch the video for A279399    she looks lovely in that Lavish top!

@Stormygirl  You are right.  The OP should check out the rise in prices in the Mizrahi line, the Graver line, etc.   She picked out one LOGO sweater with cashmere in it to rag on but most of QVC's lines have gone up a lot in price.  Quacker Factory has all gone up too but not quite in as steep a percentage.  But look at IM new clothes - pricey!

Same for Graver.

@LOL @ the Tea Party!

I just happened to turn on the channel and saw the shirt....didn't pick a particular top to rag on..................and yes....SG, IM have all increased but i feel LOGO has been the worst offender.....

I agree!  I'm sure some people can afford LOGO prices, but not me.  Someone in the Fashion forum suggested the brand DJT on Amazon.  I've gotten a couple of their tops and like them!  They are about 1/3 the price.  Also Kate & Mallory on Evine Live has some cute tops.  Not all of them are great, but if you spend the time and check out reviews, materials etc. you can get some cute tops for around $30.  Having said that I do like some of the LOGO tops and I've bought a couple, but most of the prices are just too high.

All of the prices on QVC and HSN have gotten crazy.  The other thing is that the vanity sizing has gotten completely out of hand.  Since when is a 38" bust an XS????  The last time I was weak and bought something, it was a Basso jacket that was enormous.  Exchanged it for 2 sizes smaller than I normally wear and it is still bigger than I'd like... but am not going to pay another shipping for exchange.  As far as LOGO specifically, I live in Seattle which is kind of the epicenter of hip casual dressing and although I am seeing some of the details in the stores lately, I have never seen anybody actually wearing these odd mixed colors, shapes and textures.  Just looks sloppy to me.... and I wear flannel!
