I like a simple black dress but it has to have sleeves and preferably below the knees!

I don't like the lace number.  I'm sick of lace!

I have several LBDs - I've worn them for years.   One from Chico's, one from Lord & Taylor and one from Coldwater Creek.  Also have a "little navy dress" from Renee's original Citiknits collection.

And, a dessy "little black pants outfit."

Very simple  / easy / basic styles that can be worn just about anywhere with a change of accessories.

I never have to buy another black dress.

I don’t love any of these. I am not a fan of lace, ruffles, or bell sleeves so that rules out most of them. Not in love with the black and white sleeveless one or the one with waist cutouts either.

I own one LBD. Mine is a sleeveless solid black Calvin Klein sheath dress. It hits right at the top of my knees. I wear short, 3/4, and long sleeve cardigans over it, as well as blazers.

A couple are passable but none are purchase worthy. I have three, one is a cashmere fit and flare I've had for years, another a basic sheath, and a cocktail beaded one.

I have never had a LBD.  I have had little dark green dresses, little brown dresses, etc.  Who wants to look like everyone else.
