Yes the sales are crazy.  I know some of  you like Tek Gear and the sweat shirts are like $6.  The good brands Nike, LandsEnd, Eddie Bauer that aren't usually extra off if they are marked down you get an extra 50% off.  Most of the items I bought were $3 to $5.  My daughter teaches at a low income school and I donate new coats and sweatshirts to the school each year and I bought boys sweatshirts for $4 each and Levis sweat shirts.  I spent $150 but saved $1600.

@TurnerGal, Bet those children will be thrilled with their new clothes.  You are a caring and generous person, and the world needs more people like you.

I am a good shopper and find bargains.  Last Fall I worked with the school social worker and I supplied 40 coats to the school (its grade 3-5).  The kids were able to come in and pick out a coat.  If you could have seen how happy they were to get a warm new coat is was amazing.  There was one little boy that picked one out and we went to remove the tags and he wouldn't let us.  He was so proud and wanted to take it home and show his father that he had a new coat with tags,  he never had a new coat before.  There was another little boy that picked a warm parka and he wouldn't take it off and wanted to go out to recess and show the other kids (it happened to be 60 degrees that day).  We convinced him to take it off and I also had these great boys shackets from Eddie Bauer that I had bought on clearance at Sam's Club for $3, so we were able to get him to wear the Shacket and take home the coat.  Some of the kids were looking for sweatshirts and fleeces so this large purchase from Kohls will be great for next Fall.

The prices of the items online are already at the lowest prices, but the brands that do not accept coupons are not discounted by fifty percent.

In the store the items are getting the extra 50% off I bought Eddie Bauer stuff, Nike and Landsend and they were all extra 50% off the marked price.

The extra discount only applies to clearance so if it is a Nike item on sale and not clearance you won't get the extra discount.  If you go to clearance first online and then select brand it will show you those items with the extra discounts.  I did find the clearance sale items were often cheaper in the store than online.

That is certainly a better deal than for those who only shop online!

I have not shopped at Kohl's in awhile.  They used to remind you that you had Kohl's cash that was expiring.  Now they don't.

They also have way too much merchandise that is a BOGO.  It's no bargain for me.

Shopping less and less there.
