Oh, so very sad. Even though I expected it, it still comes as a shock. There are some people that you just expect will always be with us. Joan Rivers is one of my heroes, a true role model. I feel like I've lost a member of my family.

She went out the way I think she would have wanted...working right up until the very end, with so many projects going on at once...doing stand up the night before the medical incident.
