Louis & Jac seem like 2 of the sweetest, most genuine people you'd ever want to meet. And Louis has a true gift as a designer!
God Bless, & I look forward to future shows.

I did see the entire show and although it was not an entirely smooth production, I still managed to add to my order. Louis was a delight, albeit concerned that things were not running like clock work, as they usually do. We still don't know exactly what happened behind the scenes and probably never will. I am a bit disheartened that some posters blamed the not so perfect show on Antonella. Those of you who watched the whole show or taped it can see at the very beginning Louis gave Antonella a warm kiss hello and called her a pet name. Very charming, and even mentioned he was on her very first show! In the end, I think Antonella handled the backstage chaos professionally in front of the camera. I had no idea how bad things were behind the scene. I just think its unfortunate how she immediately was held responsible when things did not run smoothly. I don't watch often, only Linea shows, but I always find Antonella a fresh breath of air and very real and likable.
I don't in any way think Antonella was responsible for the problems of the show and felt sorry for her and Louis that the show did not run as planned. I do however think she was not a good match with Louis. I think her knowledge of clothing and how to present it lacking. Whenever she has to present any item and has a vendor present I think she get flustered and starts the nervous laughter, which I find extremely annoying. My opinion only!

I think we all felt the stress and were rooting for the designer, host, models to keep it together, and in the end they pulled off a good, albeit uneven, show nonetheless. They (QVC) can make it up to LDO, the models and us, the customers, with a 2-hour prime time show!
Good idea. I've been a QVC for customer for over 20 years and don't think I've ever seen a "mix-up" with the models like on yesterday's Linea show.

Echoing others, thanks to Jac for taking the time to let us know what happened. Despite the problems it didn't stop me from buying several things. And I enjoyed watching anyway. I hope QVC offered an apology for the problems. Louis and Jac are truly a class act.

Jac, how gracious of you to take time to write this explanation to us all. We all know you and Louis are classic and experts in the field, and every show you do shows the utmost in style. I am so sorry this happened to you both. I am thankful you two are still on the Q, as you represent a real fashion sense we don't see very often there, yet the clothes are affordable and comfortable. I found the fit and style very appealing, and I am a satisfied customer. I don't buy much due to budget constraints, but when I do I am very happy.
Please take care.

I love the "Linea Ladies!" I can't imagine that any other designer on the Q arouses this much passion when devotees of the line feel that he or she has been treated poorly. On the one hand, Chalcedony is right, it is only a shopping network. But, on the other hand, given our history of defending the Linea line against the Q's PTB, its probably not surprising that we are all ready to grab the torches and pitchforks and march on Westchester. We are only too aware of all of the time and effort that Louis puts into bringing us beautiful designs and quality merchandise, and that both he and Jac put into responding to the wishes and concerns of their customers. We have all seen other designer clothing lines on the Q slide into mediocrity and are doubly sensitive to any hint that Louis is being disrespected and his work undervalued. Hopefully, whatever happened yesterday behind the scenes will not be repeated, but as many have pointed out here, Louis's line still gives us a wonderful opportunity to purchase classic clothing that endures over time.

First of all, I just want to say how touched I was by Jac's post. I also read Louis' remark on his blog this morning. I so appreciate all the hard work and caring they both put into the shows and into taking care of all their customers that they call friends. What CLASS ACTS they both are.
Someone may have mentioned this already but I really believe that the back stage issues were that whoever was in charge there for QVC decided to double up on the outfits to be more "efficient"??? It all seemed to start with the boho skirt presentation. Someone else mentioned on Louis' blog that she noticed something was wrong when he carried all of the boho skirts over to the models. I noticed that too. The models for the Georgette shirt presentation right before the boho skirts just stayed on the runway and they showed the skirts in the same outfits that were just presented. Louis almost always brings out more models styled in different ways (that is why we love to watch his shows - so we get all the ideas for clothes combos!!). He was obviously irritated that the models for the boho skirts were not wearing the combos that he had previously selected. I think the QVC person then tried to do the exact same thing with the lace top and skirt, using the exact same outfits to present both the top and the skirt with no change of outfits to show different combos. I bet this is when Jac stepped in and spent most of her time trying to get things back on track the way Louis had spent hours and hours putting together. That is why she was missing for awhile. (again, just my theory!!)
I went back to Louis' blog to see the sneak peak pictures. I have found that we can almost always see what outfit combos will be shown on his shows from these pictures. He usually presents the items as shown there. So I watched my DVR again and noticed that the outfit that was supposed to be shown for the Indigo lace skirt was the one they used for the white denim jacket. So on and on it went. This is why Louis was hesitating so much when he was describing what the models were wearing. Because the outfits were either completely wrong as planned or out of sync with the presentation order.
I feel so bad for Louis, Jac and the models. They are so used to working so well together. They have it down pat. Then some QVC person gets a "bright" idea to change things unexpectedly and look what happened. Despite all of these issues, I think everyone handled it as well as could be expected. And I still enjoyed the show and all the beautiful Linea clothes.
It just goes to show "if it ain't broke, don't fix it"

Some obviously inexperienced person probably thought there were too many 'changes' for the models and tried to double up. But the models on his shows are always the same ones, they love Louis and how he organizes everything including accessories for them and, as professionals, they can handle a quick clothing change-- especially when everything has been mapped out for them in advance by Louis.
Not a firing, but a major disciplinary step should be taken by the Q brass against the individual responsible for this last minute "I know better than the professional designer 'cause I'm the one in charge backstage." An inexperienced little 'know it all' whose incompetence proved she/he knows very little.
