Some obviously inexperienced person probably thought there were too many 'changes' for the models and tried to double up. But the models on his shows are always the same ones, they love Louis and how he organizes everything including accessories for them and, as professionals, they can handle a quick clothing change-- especially when everything has been mapped out for them in advance by Louis.

Not a firing, but a major disciplinary step should be taken by the Q brass against the individual responsible for this last minute "I know better than the professional designer 'cause I'm the one in charge backstage." An inexperienced little 'know it all' whose incompetence proved she/he knows very little.

Sounds like someone was trying to 'reinvent the wheel'.

I do not believe Antonella had anything to do with the confusion. Everyone has an off day in their line of work, one has to go with the flow.

I agree with what you said and it upset me that others here were blaming Antonella entirely. I wish we would stop blaming everything including the invasion of Urkaine on the hosts at QVC who do an exceptionally good job and Heaven only knows what off-stage or production matters they deal with. I was told by CS that there were major changes in technology. Who is going to doubt that technology is running a major part of the show and that people have been eliminated, just as everywhere else in the country. What makes you think it was a "somebody" and not an "IT" that made an error. These errors are ultimately the fault of Management who is trying to save money at all costs to the customer and vendor.

So thankful to Jac and Louis for explaining this fiasco. I'm now looking forward to the next show! :-D I heard Louis say that it was "newly added" which makes me wonder if it will be like a make up show for this train wreck---maybe a peace offering from the Q? Nevertheless, an extra show yay. For the record, the 4am show was great!

Air time on QVC is very valuable because QVC goes out to 100 million plus households. This represents a lot of sales for both Louis and QVC. If the line producer made a mistake, he or she probably should not be doing Louis's shows again. Louis is used to running a large business. This is the reason he is so organized. As we know success sometimes is in the details.

In light of what was going on off stage, I think Louis and Antonella handled it the best they could. But you do have to wonder what was the last minute change in the roster.

They are two professional's who obviously care about the details. I hope the flaming idiot who made the backstage changes never works a fashion show again. While I didn't see the show in question, I saw the comments out here and many of you picked up on the fact that something was amiss.

A very professional and lovely couple. I always look forward to the Linea presentations simply because the outfits are so beautifully styled, and Louis is such a gracious and pleasant presenter. I didn't see the show in question and am sorry there were glitches. It was nice of Mrs. Dell'Olio to take the trouble to explain what went wrong.

On the other hand, my minister got "behind schedule" in last Sunday's church service and omitted a hymn. Things often go awry in public productions -- church services, political speeches, PTA meetings, business presentations.........and yes, live TV shopping shows. Best to keep a little perspective, folks. It ain't the end of the world! Next time will be better, I'm sure.
