I see a lot people posting about JAG jeans-- I am looking for a new pull on style- why are these so great?  do they run big?

I'd say they run true to size. I buy the same size in JAG jeans as I do in other brands.

They are very comfortable, yet they aren't baggy. They come in various styles, mine are slim straight leg.

I'd definitely buy more of them. I'd describe them as a mid-priced brand.

The great advantage to them is fit - it is modern and with a flatter fit in the waistband than you would expect from a pull-on jean.

I don't have JAG jeans but I have jeans with this type of waistband that are pull on.  The one thing I like about them is that any of my tops can be worn over them and I don't have to worry about the button on the jeans poking through or the waistbend showing under my tops.

I have a few knit tops that I can't wear with regular jeans because you can see the button/waistband under the top becaus it's a closer fit.  I hate that.

They run true to size.   They are ok, not my favorite, but very comfortable.

I don't know about true to size because my jeans size is all over the place.  A while ago I ordered a pair on line. I read the reviews that said they run big, but in reading the measurements given, one of the sizes fit my measurements exactly.  I ordered that size and they were huge on me.  I returned them for the next size smaller, and they were still too big.  I really wanted to like these, but I guess they aren't for me.

My next attempt might be an "invisabelt" so I can wear some of my tighter tops without my button sticking out.

The sizing advice that is given on the Nordstrom site is to order your normal apparel size if you have a "curvy body type" and to order one size down from your normal apparel size if you have a "straight/apple-shaped body type." Note -- curvy does not mean overweight! I wear a 2P and have a curvy body type (waist much smaller than hips), and this sizing advice works well for me. I guess that if you don't need extra room going over the hips, sizing down is the right thing. (I don't currently own any long pants or crops with this waistband, but I do have it in shorts -- comfy!!!)

Ugh. This is a huge pet peeve of mine.  Many people, hosts included, now refer to someone as curvy when they are a plus size.

Yeah but no one who actually knows something about body shape vs body size thinks that.  Curvy just means that a woman has a Betty Boop shape, whether she is average size or plus size.  I'm a curvy girl and I was a curvy girl at size 30W and curvy girl at size 12 and now a 16.
