10 shoes every woman should own. Basic ballet flats, casual kicks, go with everything ankle boots, summer wedges, classic pump, everyday sandals, statement heels, classic riding boots, nude heels, smart oxfords or loafers.:

I would be thrilled to have such a simple wardrobe. My concern would be that after 6 mos. or a year of this it would be boring. Why? What difference does it really make if we have a few good pieces and take them out every week?

Re: Inspiration: Capsule Wardrobe

I love all of these. I generally wear the same 4 things anyway and would like to organize into this capsule style. My new purchases for fall will be in this category. I like the 4 in 4 method.

The tricky part is picking THE color. For summer I loved navy and yellow.

But I may have already screwed myself with the dark teal sweater. Unless I use that as a color pop in stage 3.

My fall neutral would start with black. Since I have this as a good base already.

But then I think I would add a khaki set

I like the thoughtfulness associated with shopping. I'm trying to do this.
