Look.....I've said it before...I'll say it again. They are giving what their customers want. Have you ever listened to the callers? Even when it is something other than D&Co or Susan Graver most of their callers are (or even sound like) they are in their 50's or retired or stay at home Moms. It isn't difficult to tell just generally a person's age by the sound of their voice or if you listen to them (they say things like, "my grandchildren", or "my children", etc. I'm saying the lifestyle of most of the people who order from QVC are often like me.

Who am I? Well, I'm a grandmother, no longer working. I have money that I can buy things. I'm a widow, but even if I weren't I don't have to ask my husband for anything. I have no need for suits or clothing that I'd wear out on the town (notice the shoes?).

I saw their target audience change about two to three years AFTER I started ordering from them. I've lost over 40 lbs in the past 2 years (long story). So, I've been cleaning out my closets. Every time I try on something, it's too big. I have piles and piles of clothes (all purchased from QVC and a very few from HSN since 2005, when I joined/discovered QVC and HSN).

I never shop at what QVC calls the 'brick and martor (sp)' stores. I see labels from amazing clothes that QVC used to sell. Even the Linea clothes aren't as great as they used to be. There was Sport Savy (when you bought those you knew you were buying sporty clothes). I could go get some and post the labels but I'm too lazy.

It is so sad to see the turn QVC has taken. It is OK for someone like me but I will tell you that if I didn't have so much back trouble, I'd be shopping at those stores. The only places I mainly go to are the Drs, the grocery store, lunch and dinner with friends. When I go there I wear nice clothes and look like I could be going to work. However, it would be a casual work place. I wear Joan Rivers' jackets, etc.

Phew! Now I'm tired. Think about it. They don't have Linea clothes because he controls the quality so he only has maybe 1,000 pieces (and that's a lot for him) of something. To have a TSV they need thousands and thousands of it and in many, many colors!

So that's why they don't have designer labels for a TSV. They can't get enough. They'd have to ask more money than most of the QVC customers are willing or able to pay.

Don't be so offended. If I like something and others hate it..think is it icky etc. I could care less..to each his own and if we all liked/thought the same thing what a boring place it would be.

It just seems that some find the line dowdy and old looking and wanted something a bit more smart and up-to-date.

It is all good.

fashion days aren't designer days. I'm not sure what anyone has been watching that they think there are going to be designers featured on a typical fashion day. That hasn't happened for years on QVC. Fashion days feature Q's in house brands.

Hello, I am dowdy and old fashion because I bought the skort and 2 different tops. I don't need "fashionable clothing", I need practical, comfortable clothing. Very casual life.

Yesterday I pulled a dress out of the closet I love for summer. It's vintagey, in a poly crepe, midcalf, lined and in black with small white polka dots. You can do a million things with it. Then I saw that the tag was Dialogue. They sure don't sell any stuff like that anymore.

I think I have that same dress, in navy/white. It is huge on me now, so it is in the stack to take to the tailor's for alterations. (It's surplice/faux wrap, so I'm not sure how easy it will be to alter the bodice.)

Mine is shirt style on the top, Lucky Lu, natural waist and buttons all the way down the front so probably not the same dress, but I'd probably like yours too. Hope the tailor can make yours work for you.

What designer would they use for a summer fashion day anyway?

They save the high class ones for fall fashion day or fashion week.

BTW whatever happened to Marc Bouwer or Pamela Dennis?

I thought that man said they were incorporating Sport Savvy

with D&Co? I haven't seen any sign of that yet.

They renamed it ""Active.""
