I don't cancel and I don't put things on check hold status waiting to make up my mind.
If there isn't enough information available for me to make a decision I'm comfortable with, I don't order. If that means I have to wait for a presentation, I wait. If I miss out, I miss out and I wait for it to come back in stock or I move on to something else.

I've never canceled an order.
And people who select paying by check for the sole purpose of buying more time to think about that order - shouldn't be ordering if it's such a huge decision. Not fair to tie up the merchandise. JMO.

I don't purchase much from here these days. My last purchase was the end of June for Josie Maran product. I don't buy clothes here unless it's something I feel I can't get better elsewhere (that rarely happens). Then I stalk "as is". I used to buy a lot of jewelry here, but no more - not the same Q ...

I've canceled a few times. The cause is usually b/c I think about it awhile and decide I really have no need for it. Or sometimes I go back and read reviews and that stops a purchase.
If changing my mind in a matter of a few or less hours causes me to get a letter, so be it. It's the Q's loss.

I rarely cancel anything. I have been shopping with the Q for 20 years, and I know I cancelled a few orders, but nothing in recent memory. I don't order as frequently as I used to, and I am not an impulsive shopper anymore so I'm sure that helps.
I usually put an item in my cart and save it for later instead of ordering right away. I go back a few days or weeks later and decide if I still want it. If the item was so popular that it is out of stock when I return to my saved items...oh, well...I will survive, and I have survived that circumstance once or twice.

How do you get to cancel after 5 days? I tried cancelling an item the very next day and got a message saying that it was already in process and unable to cancel. Now its in shipping limbo. Have to wait till it arrives so I can send it back and wait for my refund. Not happy with QVCs process.
