So funny! I lost 50 lbs, so I'm selling my LDO stuff. So I find WK sweaters in 1x 2x 3x OMG all the same color! Or duplicates...I would have one for home, one for work. I'm sure my ebay buyers think I'm nuts, listing all those duplicates. Oh well...

I am practicing moderation now, well, trying.

Congratulations on the weight loss!

Yes, absolutely! Way to go.

I ordered two pair of the same shoes two months apart once. That's worse. And I didn't even notice I'd done it for 6 months, at which time it was too late to return one pair.

I have just the opposite problem with Amazon. They are constantly prompting me to buy things I have already bought from them, like CDs and books.

Re: How You Know When You Are Out of Shopping Control!

You know your shopping is out of control when it's causing you financial problems or when you are taking money out of your long term savings accounts to pay your bills or when you buy things and never wear or use them. That duplicate thing, it happens to all of us fashionistas who do a lot of shopping. It's nothing to worry about.

Honestly, it doesn't sound like a shopping problem. It sounds like a storage/organizational problem. So, shop away, just keep track of what you have. Smile

Re: How You Know When You Are Out of Shopping Control!

I'm been going through a self evaluation and realized my shopping was way out of control even though there was no financial hit to me or my family.

Duplicates, things hanging in the closet for months...a year or 2 never worn, giving away brand new to make room for more new or because I really didn't like the item and it was way too late to return, and finding the same item in 10 different colors. For me, that's when shopping has gone too far.
