Don't know why but I bypass the front tables too.  I head straight for the purses and then to jewelry.  Then clothing.  Now I want to shop

I usually bypass the tables too.  I know what I'm there to find or look at, or what I'm generally interested in.

If I am entering a dept. store, I go to the dept. I want to shop in.  If I enter a boutique type store with women's clothes, I first look at what is at the entry.  I look around to see what catches my eye.  I then go to sale items.

OMG I am like a bird, over there and over here, I have no direction. I criss cross back and forth, especially at Target. I must look like a crazy person!

Usually I know what I want because I've already browsed online.  So I make a beeline for that department.

No matter the store(Tjmaxx,Ross, Macy's,Dillard) I head first to the jewelry,  and look for sale items, the same for handbags .Next to the home ggods section and check for sale items. Then it's on to clothing and shoes always go to the sale items first.Shopping is also good exercise.😏

@Suzeecat  Your post gave me a chuckle.  I completely get what you're saying about losing your direction while shopping in a large store!

If it's clothing store, one that's for plus sizes only or different sizes, I go right to the clearance section where my size is. If it's Targert, Walmart, etc. I go to the area where what I want is located.

I'm a results oriented person.  When I shop in a store (not very often), I usually am there for specific types of items.  I make a beeline for the right department and rarely notice anything else.

I normally go to what catches my eye first while constantly looking out for the clearance racks.  Once, I spot those and browse, I go back to what catches my eye.  99% of the time, things on a table at the front of the store hold no interest for me and I've already glanced at them when I'm making my entrance.
