Why are there no attractive shoes for ladies with WW width feet? There are a lot of us out here who would love to have something other than an ugly athletic shoe...

Have you looked at Zappos website?  They carry WW width.

Re: Shoes for the rest of us

@ALRATIBAThey do, but I have yet to find a shoe anywhere online or in comfort-geared shops locally that is what I'd call stylish.  Makes me so happy I rarely need them.  I think the whole shoe industry is engineering challenged.

I have successfully used Zappos at time for my walking shoes and for the sandals I wear about 11 months of the year, but even those aren't all that different in appearance from what I see at the Q.  My feet certainly limit what I can wear comfortably.

Difficult to find narrow shoes too.  everyone is not a medium.

QVC never offered WW shoes, not anything attractive.  Every now and then an orthpedic type shoe or a bulky sneaker comes in WW.  Even the W that sell is a C/D width.  Evine is even worse.  They don't even sell and nice W's.  However, there are places where you can find fashionable WW shoes.  Not Zappos.  There are catalogs but you can also shop them online.  Try Masseys and Maryland Square.  Woman Within too although many of their shoes are man made materials; some are leather.

I just received a pair of ballet flats WW from Zappos and they are really stylish and perfect.....and i have really problem wide feet..............i have only ordered this one time...but will check there again in the future....as far as QVC goes. ...it seems to me few WW sizes they order sell out pretty quickly..but i wish they would look for more stylish WW shoes....ballet style would be one type i wish they would include.................

I agree definately with your first line...nothing attractive...but it also depends upon the brand they offer....as someone who has had to buy WW for years there are certain brands that claim they offer WW styles when in fact when you get them home...they def aren't a WW although marked that way...they are a "tight" WW.....i found quite a few brands that way.....Naturalizer, Keds,

Easy Street, etc for example...............i have had good luck with Softwalk,  Easy Spirit, Walking Cradles, SAS

There are plenty of online sites that offer wide and narrow sizing.  All you need do is a search.  QVC is not a specialty shoe store.  It would not benefit them to have special sizes in all brands.

Re: Shoes for the rest of us

Recently, I returned several pair of WW width shoes to Zappos.  They are too pointy in the toes and so they don't have adequate width in that area.  Even tried ordering longer sizes to compensate.  Easy Spirit's shoes have pointy toes as well as Ryka.  Not pointy like cowboy boots but they taper in on both sides of toe area.  Over time, my toes have become deformed because of shoes not wide enough through the toes.   Smiley Sad
