[I am still oxox]

Can't decide which dress edition #237, I have a lovely black cocktail dress that I wore once, it has to be taken in but it still looks great, I am now trying to decide between the old and new dresses.

I am adding photos of me wearing both dresses and the dresses side by side and alone

The wedding is two weeks from yesterday. Help I am going nuts (note I am 40 lbs heavier in the black lace dress)

Both are so pretty, but I adore the black lace one.

FWIW, I prefer the solid black dress.  You can accessorize it any way you want and wear a shawl (if it's chilly), without that competing with the dress.

Having said that, I've never been a fan of lace dresses, so take my opinion with several grains of salt.  I like the simple elegance of the black dress.

(ETA:  And congratulations on the impressive weight loss!)

I favor the 2018 a little because I'm more of a fan of sleek, rather than lacey, but I think you look great in either.  (Not much help, I know!)

I vote for the black lace.  I like your own bare shoulders as opposed to nude fabric mimicking bare shoulders.

Will it be able to be taken in?

Honestly, they are both fabulous.  And very similar.  You cannot go wrong.

Either one will be nice for the wedding. I love lace but I prefer same color lining. With that being said I’d go with the solid dress.
