I see that the contrast is both in color and style.

 

The prim blouse with the casual pants and shoes presents a study in contrast of form.

 

Is this to my liking, no, but I prefer a more harmonious appearance.

Those pieces don't go together because of the textures, but I like black and white together.

I like both pieces but I'm not so sure I'm willing to do the see-through black over a black bra. Was not a problem when I was younger though.

I love black on top and white on the bottom! I've been doing that for years

I really like black and white together.  Women have been wearing that contrast for many years.  Nothing new.
