The Models were perfect - with great chemistry with every host - not just LR. PM style had such a good rhythm, followed by Isaac, who also has a good sense of timing. Now we have nothing but chaos, confusion, panic and infantile behavior. Even Amy was better, calmer, more sophisticated when she was on with Lisa. And Shawn knows better. Her Friday afternoon show is way more fun and relaxedthan PM style. It's as if the directors feel obligated to erase every trace of Lisa's style. Why? I "If it isn't broken- don't fix it!"
It seems that Q is trying to make Shawn into a fashion expert or inspiration/fashionista. It's obviously not her nature. The impression that I have is that she's trying to be something she is not, so it looks desperate-begging customers to "try it", falls flat & translates as disingenuous. Nothing personal against Shawn-she has established a niche/customer base. Bad decisions by Q to push Shawn in this role & the whole revamped Monday night lineup is so uninspiring!

ITA!!! The problem I have, in addition to practically everything everyone has said, is Shawn is becoming less and less credible as the days go on and she's on air opening her mouth! She has a flock of supporters telling her to be herself, she posts daily quotes on FB ABOUT being oneself and never changing who you are, yet she comes on air being anything BUT who she has said she is!

Her bad feet. Right. I noticed she had this whole foot thing when Vionic came on board. Same story for Spenco or whatever other orthodic-type shoe she is selling. Then she's twirling around set with Rick wearing heels higher than a person with self-proclaimed HORRIBLE feet would be able to do! But wait.....enter IM's wedges.....suddenly she feels obligated from ALL the posts on her FB page and on here to address her foot issue. So what does she do? She explains she is able to wear heels now because she wears platforms and IM's fabulous sole layered shoes???? Really Shawn???? Come on now! She looked like a fool saying that, and they called her out on her FB page, of course until it was all deleted.

Then... those handbags. For YEARS we've heard she is not a big bag girl, not a this girl, not a that girl....suddenly again....she would NOW buy one of those big handbags even if she "only had two items" to put in it??? Right! And the begging is beyond.

But... I'd like to end my little problem with Shawn by saying.... we ALL see right through her because she really is NOT a good sales person at all. Whining, begging, pleading for sales, using depressing stories to sell her jewelry, is SO unprofessional and is placed right up there with those carnival acts.

In the end....she said it on Martha Stewart's Apprentice and apparently is STILL living it here on the Q: "Fake it until you make it" and she was fired. Sorry, but that is so not cool. If you don't like something, don't tell me you do. Simply sell it on its MERITS because someone will like it. And THAT'S what a great sales person would do! Very well said!

K9, you summed it up perfectly. I won't be watching.

I was watching other TV shows so I missed all of last night except for the very end of PM Style. Are Kate and Suzanne no long models on those shows? Not that it matters, I guess. It just seems like they have changed everything up, including the models.... Again, it doesn't matter, just different. Hope they are showing new lines of clothing with all of the changes!!

Yes, it appears they felt compelled to change out virtually all the models too, which, to me, was a big mistake... Some familiarity would have been nice and I preferred the 'old' PM Style models... They wanted to now make this Shawn's show, fine, but I don't think the needed different models to do so...

I wonder why model Jackie was retained on PMS while all of the other models were changed. It's not like QVC did not have another option in her size category. If they didn't feel any of their regular plusses (in modeling size 14 is plus) were a good fit, they could have called the agency and hired someone new. Please don't think I'm knocking Jackie because she is a lovely woman who does a fine job showcasing the clothes. My point is that if they were changing PMS models then change all of them. Furthermore, Jackie presently models regularly on Fashionably Early, Issac's shows, G. Simonton, Susan Graver, D & C, and more.

I'll refrain comment about the host, and leave you with I was done with that topic when Sandra B. was passed over as the regular PMS host in favor of this new Monday night line up.

There was mention in a few posts about chasing a younger demographic. Hogwash. The 18-49 demographic may be aware of the shopping channels, but I don't foresee them ever being the dedicated viewers which those of us who came on board in the early days of TV shopping are. There are a number of reasons for this (working, busy social lives, busy with all one has to do to raise children as a few examples). Sure, busy people can go online and search products, but usually when those shoppers utilize online retail, it is on websites of their favorite retail stores.

I don't care what channel it is; how loud the music is blared during the presentations; what they call themselves; how many words the hosts make up in an attempt to sound youthful; how young the hosts really are; or how with-it they attempt to be with social media ... all shopping channels are like ME TV (that's the oldies TV network for those who may not know). They primarily appeal to the demographic Madison Avenue (as in major ad/marketing agencies) care about the least ... 50 and over.

Courtney is starting to look like a seasoned pro compared to what's going on now. Where is she when they need her?

Before we finish beating this topic into the ground....what about the fashions? What's the difference between Inspired Style and PM Style? And how many handkerchief tops (LOGO) does anyone need? Isaac's show is fine - a pleasant holdover from the previous Monday offerings - but the rest of the evening seems thrown together without regard to cohesion and customer interest. I thought Inspired Style was ok in it's slot as a late night fashion show. Why not cut out the full hour of LOGO and turn Inspired Style into two hours - from 10 to midnight - of fashions that appeal to the fashion forward customer - with clothes from LOGO, GILI, Lisa Rinna, etc. Where are all the new designers that QVC used to showcase? They belong in a show like Inspired Style. Then put PM Style back on at 7pm with two hours of clothing and accessories from traditional lines like Denim & Company, Liz Claiborne, etc. - with maybe a few pieces from Isaac and the Inspired Style line as "teasers" for the upcoming later shows. Isaac could present his line at 9pm, as his line makes a good transition from the more traditional to the more avant-garde. Well, this is just my opinion, obviously; I had hoped QVC could "freshen" up Monday nights. But the current shows just make me nervous and embarrassed for the hosts. I agree that Shawn looks uncomfortable passing herself off as a fashion expert. She is a "relaxed style" sort of girl. And Amy seems to have to fill up a lot of dead air with hand waving and giggling, having either few items to sell or too much of the same thing (LOGO)

I find Shawn cute, smart, and quick-witted. I think she and Isaac are very good together. But three hours of Shawn is too much cuteness and too much "adorable slang" for one evening -- especially when two of the hours are Shawn trying way too hard to make the same old hodgepodge of QVC house fashion brands and non-fashion items (tanning sprays, hair removers, underwear, socks, face scrubbers, and on and on ad nauseum) seem fresh and exciting. Even La Lisa couldn't overcome the sad PMS inventory, so you can bet Shawn can't do it. QVC did a nice job with the new PMS set, and they're obviously trying hard to make their Monday evening fashion lineup livelier and more TV-worthy........but with the same old offerings of tired merchandise, not a chance in the world! Honestly, watching PMS is sort of like flipping through an old Sears and Roebuck catalog......a little bit of everything, and not much real style to any of it.

Amy is cute as a button, perky, shows clothes well, and her "Inspired Style" show may have promise if she'll relax a little, ratchet the pace back several notches, and calmly present the merchandise instead of trying so hard to be Miss Personality and a TV star. The current frantic pace of I.S. wears me out.

Isaac Mizrahi's and Lori Goldstein's shows are the best of the new Monday night lineup, IMO. Just an hour each, presenting all fashion items from that designer, good interplay between designers and hosts, and new items each week. Lori's new show is my personal favorite -- fresh, interesting, creative, fun.

I wonder if QVC would consider cutting PMS down to just an hour and using the second hour for a rotating selection of designers -- Louis Dell O'lio, the Joan Rivers line, and others, including some new products and faces. Nobody needs two hours of PMS. It's a terrible bore. In fact, they can drop it altogether as far as I'm concerned.

I am definitely a baby boomer, 55. I love the new Monday night line up. I think I spent 300. last night. Cute clothes, cute Isaac shoes. I enjoyed last night. Shawn and Amy are my favorites. I'm a happy Q shopper.

While Shawn has a great figure for clothes, she needs a stylist to dress her in order to pull off a look that implies style and money. She does not have the innate sense of fashion and style that is needed to host a show that's called P.M. Style. It's as simple as that.

I might be able to make the transition if PM Style was on for two hours (ninety minutes would be even better) at its regular time followed by the hour with Issac... I kept hoping the 'new' PM Style would grow on me. It hasn't and there's no chance in the world that Amy or Logo fashions will, ever...
