Does anyone remember Gloria Vanderbilt Jeans.  I just pur a pair on that were hanging in my closet for a few years.  I purchased them at Sears.  Best jeans ever.  They are so comfortable.  She was making jeans with a little stretch long before anyone else.  I had gained weight but I refused to get rid of them.  I joined weight watchers a  month ago and I tried them on and they fit comfortably.  Thanks GLoria Vanderbilt.Smiley Happy

I have 3 pr. and reach for them often.  They have always been comfortable and I have them in two different sizes, LOL.  The weight of the denim is just right for me to have great movement. Sometimes the old ones are still the best ones.

Believe it or not I am actually wearing a pair of them right now that I also got at Sears probably a good 6 or 8 years ago. Mine, I have 2 pairs, were stashed away in the basement for quite a long time because I too had gained weight and couldn't get them over my hips! LOL....and I had forgotten about them. I was on a mission to get rid of stuff back in the fall that I hadn't worn in years and figured what the heck, my weight is down so I'll give them a try. I've been wearing both pairs since then, they got me through the winter along with an old pair of Style & Co. from Macy's. Saved me from having to do the dreaded blue jean shopping.

I have a pair of GV capris that I bought at Ross a few years ago and they're very comfortable.  I wore them when I was 20 pounds heavier and I can still wear them now, due to the stretch. They're just not as stretched-out when I wear them now. LOL

Doesn't Costco carry GV jeans? I see them often, and would buy, but they are not cut for my narrow hips.

@sunshine 919  Good for you!  I had a white pair of GV jeans in the '80s and loved them.

You are right about Gloria adding the stretch! Genius!

I had a pair in HS that I loved. Early 80's. Size 3. Had to wear tights under them to fill them in, as I was so thin back then!

I do remember they were really nice jeans, great quality. 👖

Yes Costco does carry these, saw them just a few days ago. They carry them on a regular basis-all the time. Very comfy, not expensive, wear well. Nice colors. Can't beat Costco but sometimes you have to KNOW your product when shopping there. They carried North Face a few times and these itmes go fast.

Gloria Vanderbilt is an amazing artist and still going strong at 91. HBO is airing a neat documentary about her life called Nothing Left Unsaid. She and son Anderson Cooper have a wonderful relationship.
