At times I watch some fashion shows...usually on mute because I like to concentrate on the fashion and not the vocal banter.  Some hosts have that rolling rack so you can see all of the colors while others have the rack so you see just the front garment.  Some hosts never try on a garment while others are trying on every item presented in every color!  No models?  I find the calmer presentations more informative and I really would prefer seeing models with the clothing walking and moving rather than a host taking the model role.  The off site vendors are just annoying.  You cannot get a good idea of how the garments really look and they never say much that gives added information beyond what is said or shown in studio.  Color names remain a mystery.  Often hosts are really confused.  Maybe a color name tag on each piece would help.  Measurement charts are too confusing when at times it is body measurements and other times garment measurements.  We need colors available, measurements of garment, fabric content presented first before pulling out a pinkish purple top and holding it next to brown pants.    Tend to the garment being sold and let us figure out how to wear it.  And could there be a more rapid presentation and not fifteen minutes on an item.  Finally, all fashion lines are looking alike except for one and I never see anyone in public dressing like that.

@Gabidog   OMG, I so agree with this right here!  All the attempts at styling is so tedious.  [Especially when hosts pair things that I would never style together.]

I think 20 years ago, QVC had a lot of questions from shoppers like, "can I wear this [color] top with those [color] pants?"  But I really believe customers are more creative today in their style, and more independent of what they choose to wear. That very old host playbook of "you can wear this with that" takes so much time away from truly discussing the item specifications they are supposed to be presenting.

@Gabidog    No matter what they do to present clothes, there is a 100% certainty that someone will complain about it.  You might get more usable information if you took the TV off mute.

I was "amused" by one of the presentations .... can't recall exactly who ... but it was a couple of days ago.

You know that scene where a model comes through a door on the right into a room with white walls, twirls around a few times, poses a few times and then leaves?

Well - this model comes in all dress in white top and pants, poses in front of the white wall - and all you could see was a head and some feet.

The clothes just blended in with the white wall.

Too funny  about the white wall and model, etc.

Yes, a large-ish sticker on the names of the colors of the items that are very close in color.  Would be nice!

Also, while I'm here, not crazy about some of the various names of some of the colors (in general, and not pointing my finger at specific brands, etc.).

Well, enough negativity from me today. lol

'More or less', 'Right or wrong', 'In general', and 'Just thinking out loud ' (as usual).

Mute is better for me...I learn more by watching and reading on screen information.  Kind of like going to a store where I read tag information and feel the fabric.  No person is standing next to me yapping in my ear telling me there are 500 left.
