Must be the name lol - same here! We don't make a lot of money, but we do well. We have a great family, nice home (we're in the process of building one in a new state, so I haven't been on the boards as much lately - we're in transition), we all love one another and I've been married for almost 12 years now. The way I look at is that I take posts pretty much at face value but with caution. If someone tells whoppers on line, I have no idea if they are or not.... unless it's exposed in some way and even then, why would I care unless I'm involved? They are the ones that have to live with it, remember it, and turn off their computers and get on with their real lives, such as it is. No one really remembers what they say.

These people are usually very unhappy in their real lives and boosting their "story" on line is their way to feel better about themselves and their lives. Much like those who can't find anything good to say about anyone. They think it gives them power. It doesn't, it just makes the rest of the posters feel sorry for them.

The whole subject is very interesting to me because human nature is worth studying. I find this particular board far more gentle than most others I've been on. I realize it has its moments, but for the most part those who post here are kind, curious and want to discuss a myriad of subjects.

I was not being naughty, I was being honest and I will continue to be oh so nice as you put it. There are a lot of snobs that think they rule the boards and whether one is being naughty or nice they always have a come back. Posters like myself just can't win. I brought out the snark with nasty comments and now I bring out the snark with oh so nice comments. Go figure.
