I saw Isaac’s jeans w/ frayed hem on PM Style. David Dangle presented a JR shirt w/ frayed bottom. Could this be the newest trend? Unraveled hems?

@ImaoldhippieMaybe on jean shorts, but haven’t seen it on bottom of blouses until now.

Probably not as much as jeans and shorts.  I think its something that designers come up with to be different and sell their product.  I do have 1 top that the neckline and hemline are frayed.

Unhappily, Talbots has even jumped on that wagon.Smiley Sad

I found a really pretty plaid shirt two years ago with a frayed hem.  I did get it, but I turned the hem up and sewed it.

Re: FRAYED REPLACING RUFFLES

.Over the years I have worn many frayed articles of clothing so it's not a new look.  I have also made my own frayed pieces.  I have always liked the noncomforming look.

Might be new here but like others have said, it is not new.  I love frayed hem jeans.
