Re: Emily Blunt In Oscar de la Renta

@Greeneyedlady21    Lovely dress!  It reminds me of a fancy eyelet.  Perfect as a springtime gown!❤️

Beautiful color, and the tea length looks so pretty. Crystals are subtle. The neckline is modest and fits her so well.

The actor spent Sunday afternoon at the 35th Producers Guild of America Awards, at the Ray Dolby Ballroom in Hollywood, where her fresh, sunny look stood out in sharp contrast to the inky-black carpet.

The fit was a strapless gown in Easter egg blue, from Oscar de la Renta’s Spring/Summer 2024 ready-to-wear collection. It featured a pretty, scalloped neckline and A-line skirt, as well as eyelet cutouts in circular patterns all over, embellished with tiny clear crystals. Also adorning the dress were flower-shaped crystal clusters.

The dress’s subtly corseted bodice cinched the actor at the waist, creating an elegant hourglass silhouette that made her look like a princess. Styled by Jessica Paster, Blunt wore the tea-length dress with pointy silver crystal-embellished Betsey Johnson heels, which peeped out from under the ample skirt.

To coordinate with the dress’s shimmer, she wore silver and diamond jewelry: leaf-shaped diamond earrings, a chunky chain bracelet with diamonds all over, a white and gold cuff also adorned with diamonds or crystals, and a diamond ring.

The actor wore her hair in a lovely bun with wavy side bangs framing her face, and she opted for rosy, glowy makeup.

lovely, everything about the dress and wearer is a class act. A pendant would have looked beautiful.

She seems like a lovely woman.  I too think the skirt is a little too full.  And I would have liked to see her hair styled differently.  She is very pretty and I love this Hollywood couple of  John Krasinski and her.

Yes Taylor's dress was an Oscar de la Renta too. That was beautiful on her, I like Emily's dress even more.

I don't love this nor do I hate it.  I guess it is meh. The intensity of the periwinkle blue overwhelms the delicacy of the eyelet pattern to my eye so it is a wash for me. I wish it were one or the other but not both in one look.

She's a beautiful lady and her dress is very pretty, but I don't care for the way her hair is styled.

Re: Emily Blunt In Oscar de la Renta

It's very blue! I think it kind of overwhelms her both in color and volume. Her hair looks messy and though that seems to be one of the new styles,  there can be a pretty messy and a messy messy as if nothing was done if that makes sense (or not!). I do think she is a wonderful actress.

I like Taylor's dress. And again her hair doesn't look like much thought was put into it either.

I'm so glad I don't have to stand in front of those photographers and have people criticise me!
