@Andreatoo, I took her presentation and use of the word "fast fashion" to mean the items are very trendy and won't be in style all that long.  It's "of the moment" items that they won't be charging a lot of money for so you can be on trend without breaking the bank.

my first time hearing the term 'fast fashion' was on this board and it does NOT have a positive connotation.

Secondly I didn't see any Du Jour piece so wildly trendy that you couldn't wear it next year...

Wide leg pants? Oh the horror! a tank top? Yikes! Who's going to be wearing those in 10 years?

I just watched Shawn do a presentation of du jour fashion. First I want to apologize to the individual that I doubted when she said Shawn use the word fast fashion, as a matter of fact, she used it ad nauseum! Secondly color me confused because she was presenting a top with pretty sleeves. Nothing any different from a Halston, Isaac Mizrahi, Susan Graver, you name it, that's not already being shown on the Q! On top of that she made her case for fast trendy fashion while simultaneously wearing a camo top to her knees! And no I'm not referring to the camo I'm referring to the knee length tunic. Facepalm!

I wore a darling DuJour  LBD to a wedding last March. I have no idea how old it is. Great dress.

I didn't see Shawn's show but I saw an off the shoulder dress presented Saturday morning in AMS with Leah.

I loved the dress and almost bought it for a wedding I have but then realized I'd probably never wear it again.  I only really liked it off the shoulder and it's not like I could wear it to work.
