I'm getting quite frustrated with the ever rising clothing prices at the Q
Just saw a velour front tank from SG @ $49.00!!! That's ridiculous for a tank. Macys has sales ALL the time along with coupons, the share program, etc. Talbots is on sale quite often. Even Nordstroms has better prices on many items. In fact, I bought tee shirts from there that were 30% off of 29.00 and are Pima cotton, with nice tailoring and cut.
IM had tees last week that were similar but not the same quality and was 39.00!!
I have to shop online due to a walking disability. But there are many more fish in the sea now than 20 years ago.
If the Q doesn't figure something out ~ they may eventually suffer. But then again they count on impulse purchases....which I know I've been guilty of and, am sure if we are honest a lot of us are. I'm working on that!
It's the PRICES...getting just ridiculous for clothing!!!

I don't purchase clothes or shoes on the Q anymore- the sizing is way off and I refuse to pay $6.95 to return items anymore - I don't know where they get their price points - compared to retailers, I agree, the Q is way higher -there are great sales out there on the internet and in stores elsewhere. Good luck!

I agree, it's a joke. Everything I saw in the show was 49 dollars or more! Who cares about easy pay, doesn't reduce price of item. I will be shopping elsewhere 😊

I know some feel her prices are high but it doesn't stop a lot of people from buying her items. I like some of her things, they wear nice, wash easily and last a long time.

I admit to being guilty of occasionally buying a Susan Graver or Mackie item but those days are rare. I used to buy much more but now we live in Fl. so I am not so happy wearing polyester as it gets hot and QVC's prices are a huge turn off. I have to really feel something is gorgeous to be inticed to buy and , honestly, not much they show on the Q these days falls into the gorgeous catagory.

I do get that some of what she sells is costly. But that's true always. I might walk through Saks and lots of departments at Nordstrom or Bloomies or small local shops just because I love good fabrics and the colors they take, but they're not in my budget. Doesn't mean they shouldn't be sold - just means I can buy a "Chevy" but never a "Mercedes." Both do the same thing just as is true about tanks at different prices, sweaters, or whatever else we buy.
I buy the vast majority of my clothing brick and mortar because I can, but I also have to say that what I do buy from SG has always been as good as and often better than lots of what I bring home from those local stores. In some cases way better which means in the long run, those garments turn out to be cheaper than those I paid less for.

Agreed! She'd sell a lot more if the prices were at least $15 less.

Agree, the prices are high. But, all prices are high. I never thought I'd pay $5 for a 1/2gal of milk or a chicken breast! It's just that the cost of living is very high nowadays.

I tried to watch Susan early today. Couldn't stand her arrogance, so decided to check online later. I just looked!! Prices are rising with each show she does. I love her clothing, but will NOT pay more than $50 for a basic top. I saw a couple of things I liked, but not at $60. +sh/tax....that is inching closer to $100. for a basic solid color top. Come on QVC!

While I enjoy watching fashion presentations on QVC, it has been a few years since I purchased any because of the cost (total cost).
I have purchased a couple beauty kits, watches, a couple pieces of jewelry, and trunk organizers from The Q but I think that is all in the last few years.
