Recently, I bought a gray elbow sleeve sweater that I've been wanting. Long story short, I have this sweater already. This has happened a few times and I really need to go through my packed closets again and remind myself of what I have. Do you sometimes purchase items that you forgot you have, or am I senile, LOL.

I used to joke about it and say, "What I like...I REALLY like".  But it does get annoying.

I haven't done that.  I don't keep an abundance of clothes. Birkenstocks? Yes.  Clothes?  No.

I did this last year. I bought the same pink sweater fromTalbots twice. And I have never worn either one. The material is a little too clingy for my taste. I need to donate the sweaters. I do not buy a lot of clothes and from now on I'll be sure not to do this again. It's such a waste to have them just hanging in the closet.

Yes, I've bought duplicates several times.  At least my taste is consistent.  I've got so many clothes, I don't know what I own.  I'm always pul!ing something out of a closet I swear I've never seen before.

It happened to me once and only once because that is when it hit me that I just have too many clothes!
