It is just a very dated "BLA" fashion line. Seems to be getting worse all the time.

It's like you can't live comfortably trying to stop clothes from rubbing. I refuse to give up a shoulder bag and another bag that I carry my lunch to work. You have to wash your clothes. I like to rest my elbows on the table, etc. Stupid and rediculous. The nature of most clothing (except you....Susan Graver) is that clothes WILL PILL! Wear the clothes the way you like to, and forget about Pilling.
Yes, parts were ridiculous, I thought I found the page with the washing tips. I wasn't allowed to put elbows on tables as a child and that stuck. I do use shoulder bags, too.

Sorry to say one look at the unfashionable duo and I turned it off. Neither one of them inspire me to buy clothing. Carolyn had on some mismatched clothing that didn't fit her congratulating her "stylist" and Gary had on a suit that just needed work.

I noticed that about Gary's suit, too. I also notice that when they have a TSV day and it's not selling well, he changes from his usual button down shirts to an Isaac black shirt look to try to fit the designer part. Doubt it helps promote sales or makes the powers that be think about keeping him around, but he does it at the end of the TSV dud days.
He's probably not a designer at all but a guy who was cleaning the gutters and asked to come inside and stand by Carolyn to stretch pants back and forth for an hour!

I actually ordered four D&C items from this morning's show -
camoflage pants - don't think those are dated plus I couid get them in blue - already have some olive ones
their cardigan sweater which is knee length - the price was right. It was light weight and came in many colors - not just neutrals.
I ordered a print tank - I'm not much on prints for any designer, but I liked this one and again there was a variety of color choices.
I do agree that some of their colors are not good. I stick with neutrals or blues, wine colors and stay away from anything neon.
There are trendier lines here at QVC - Halston - but its not really plus size friendly.
All in all I think D&C caters to the casual dresser - tee shirts and jeans being their staples. I don't think you really come out with anything very innovative with tee shirts and jeans as they are classics.

Oh my I really needed that today!! I still remember a comment once about him being a butcher in a previous life from Ford. It really stayed with me. Now every time I see him.....but I am sure he is a really nice guy ...just not someone who can design clothing.

Never have and never will. I also and not a fan of the cotton/rayon/modal/spandex configuration. It's thin and pills like crazy. And don't get me started on those iconic D&C pull on pants with the pork chop pockets and gathered elastic waistband.
@KentuckyWoman The pants you hate are about all I order from them any more. I think they are a good value, and I have a LOT of them to wear on days around the house. I can't think of anything on the market I like that well for that purpose. They fit ok, look, can go to the grocery store and feel comfy. They wear well and wash well.
I think the t-shirts LLBean sells, pima cottom, are far far better for price, fit and fabric, so that's what I buy. Oh and Isaac's little t-shirt dresses. I almost live in those!
I so agree with you about the pants ... I also have a lot of them .. some more than 10 years old and still look good.

shirts and jackets look 'box" shaped.

I didn't think her clothing was mismatched -- at the opening of the show she had on camo pants (very neutral), a denim anorak (again, very neutral -- I wear my denim with pretty much any color), a rosy/blush tee (which I liked with the green camo), and Isaac shoes in a similar color. I also thought the pants and jacket fit her just fine. Haven't yet seen her with just the tee (I tape and play it in the background while I get ready). If you saw her in something else, it was because she was just trying on an item.
P.S. They are just having fun with the "nickname." You obviously don't like Gary, or their show together, but I am certain that show is very popular. I also think some of the comments about Gary's professional credentials elsewhere in this thread are a little much.

Agree! Gary needs to go. This line has went down hill and higher in prices since he came aboard. If he is a designer than I'm peter pan. He seems like a nice person but designer he is not. I have found Denim & Co clothes in Gabes. I bought a pair of olive shorts for 4.00 and last year on qvc bought those same shorts for 24.00, which now they are even higher.

I can never figure out what demographic D&C is looking to entice.
Years ago I would buy some specific items in the Sport Savvy and D&C lines 6 pieces (different colors) at a time. They were my wardrobe "uniform" pieces for work.
Now, I rarely see ANYTHING that I'd buy even in a single piece.
So who DOES buy this line?
