I have many of the jeans that are like the Jag jeans--get them from Macys. Love them and they fit very well.

I hate the look of an elastic waist pant; jeans or otherwise. You don't see a side zipper and the nice flat front makes it a good choice for me. I have one pair, a high waist crop jean, that zips in the back. No big deal really.

I saw a show on Q last night called Belle.  They had jeans with no zipper or buttons and all the models but one looked like stuffed sausages.  I purchased a pair one year and they pulled at the knees & became uncomfortable you know where.  I also noticed they were bagging at the knees.
