Do her jeans really run that large? They haven't really said what the measurements are for each size (XS, S, M, L, etc) but Diane said she has a 33" waist and is wearing an XS! I have similar measurements (same apple shape), but the "size finder" says I would take a medium. So what the heck?
In reviews of previous comfort waist jegging TSV, some people said they ran really big, some said just right, some said really small.
I think these look comfortable like yoga pants, and I'd like to try them, but have no idea what size to order!
Can anyone offer advice? I am about 33" waist, 40" hip, 5'6, 160 lb. Would usually be a 12.

I called last night and asked the rep if they had garment sizes that I couldn't see online, and she said no. I called back a little later to Customer Service because I wanted to verify their current returns "rules", and I asked him about measurements. He said the rep should have had what he had (which wasn't much):
Medium - Low Hip is 38-1/2" Waist Relaxed is 32" and extended is 38"
Large - Low Hip is 41-1/2" Waist Relaxed is 35" and extended is 41"
There is supposed to be 6" of stretch in the waist, which would account for 32 - 38" on the medium. The CS rep said there is 3" of stretch in the hip, but the "demo" says 10" of stretch in the hip! The CS rep may have been referring to the "ease" instead of the stretch.
I haven't tried the superstretch, but Diane just said again that she weighs well over 155 pounds and is in an extra small. She has said that when she was wearing her regular denim bootcut jeans that weren't superstretch (actually she said she wore a size 2 or 4) - and I just cannot believe that, I'm sorry. I weigh about 150, and in the regular jeans I could barely manage a size 10 - and she was in a 2 or 4? I don't think so.
I went to the reviews on the skinny leg Comfort Waist Superstretch Jegging - Item #360-739, which looks exactly like this one except this is bootcut. There are 134 one-star reviews and 104 two-star, and many say they run HUGE, others say they stretch out so much and are very baggy, others tell about bad stitching, inconsistent sizing, chemical smells, there are a lot of really bad reviews. The HUGE part is what concerns me -- according to their measurement guide where you put in your own measurements and it recommends the size, I'm a medium. But not sure if I should size down. However, I know if I had to I could take in the medium - if they're too small, I can't fix it.
I've said before that I would never buy another DG2 product for some of the reasons listed above, but I am going to give these a try - I should probably have my head examined, because I've had to send back too many defective jeans of hers in the past.

You indicate that you really like the super stretch... do you find that it stretches a LOT in the hips and waist? I'm just trying to decide if I should size down. I'm on the low end of the hip measurement for a medium, but my waist is on the high end. If you're regularly a 16 and have ordered a large, I just wondered if you think a medium would be the right size if I'm usually a 10 or 12? Any thoughts would help!

KittyMomNC,
Thanks for your information. I didn't even think to call CS. You and I sound like about the same size. I played a little bit with the measurement guide... and I decided to go with the small in these. Could be a mistake (because I am never a small!) but like you I have a larger waist and smaller hips and it seems like these will not be too small in the waist no matter what but could be saggy in the rear. I also am currently dieting, and hope to lose a size or two in the next couple of months.
I also debated on length, because my favorite jeans are 32.5", so I'm right in between regular and tall. But since these are more casual to me, I likely won't wear them with heels, so I went with the regular.
Good luck and let me know what you decide!

The size I wear now..is a 10 or a medium. My waist measures 28" and my hips are 35".
I weighed 116, last I checked, lol. I wear an XS or Small in her tops. I only order her tops now. I've had too many problems with her jeans. I have sizes, 4 thru 8 and now 10..I'm prepared for anything now..lol! I hope the size you choose works out, if not, their CS is wonderful! HTH!
Forgot to add..I had trouble with the SS. They stretched and the material puckered after wearing three times.Too late to send back, so I have decided to only buy jeans where I can try them on. Even the same brands vary~

I decided to go with the medium, because my waist is larger than yours. The hip in a small might have worked, but if the waist was too tight, I'd be out of luck. I can take in the hips if I need to. I wish us both luck!!

I ordered these when they were the TS skinny jegging, and I have lived in them since. LOVE this fabric.
That said, size down. Also, I have 2 pairs in the same size, one in indigo and one in chambray, and they fit like 2 different sizes. So inconsistent.
The fabric does stretch out during the day, so if they feel a little tight when you put them on, they will be perfect in a few hours. Did I mention size down?
