The last time Diane was on, I bought the bootcut jeggings in black. They do not have this new comfort waist but the waist isn't the usual bunched up elastic that a lot of elastic waist jeans have. I actually like the waist and am not sure about this new comfort waist.
I am a pear shape and I stuck with my regular size. I ordered the black and wanted them to wear as a black pant to work, not as a casual jean. I didn't want to look stuffed into my pants like 2 pounds of sausage in a one pound casing.
My normal size fit me perfectly. I cannot imagine having sized down. The waist is perfect as was the fit through the hip, butt and thighs.
The problem is, you can see white threads all the way down the outer seams on both legs of the black. Diane addressed this yesterday night when I was watching and claimed her pants were dyed differently and constructed differently and while you can see white seams down other manufacturers jeans, you cannot with her's. This isn't accurate.
As I watched with Colleen last night, they had a model in the size large black and you could clearly see white seams down each leg.
Colleen also went to each model and asked their normal size and what size jegging they had on. I believe only 1 model was in her normal size. The others had gone down 1 size, some of them 2 sizes. Colleen said she can go down 2 sizes in Diane's jeans.

I wanted to add, I have the superstretch skinny, not the last TSV with the comfort waist though. It was my first try in superstretch. I ordered my normal size in those and the fit is perfect. They do not stretch out at all while I'm wearing them. They also had no bad chemical odor.
The black jeggings I bought about a month ago have a horrible chemical odor that didn't go away in the wash.

I saw those pants, they would make a great maternity pant.

If you don't want to read my diatribe about Diane's jeans, please skip this post!
Sad to say, chrystaltreewas right, these jeans would make great maternity pants -- wish I had had them 45 years ago!
I was amazed that I ordered these on Sunday and received them on Tuesday... but now I wish they had gotten lost somewhere and never arrived.
I hope others love them, but for me, these jeans are a real joke. I said I should have my head examined for ordering anything else from Diane G. given all the problems I've had in the past, but I mistakenly thought these might fit similar to the Denim & Co How Smooth jeans since the waist design is the same. WRONG! My Denim & Co How Smooth jeans hold me in through the middle, flatten my stomach, and totally eliminate any "muffin top" as Diane likes to say, and they make my tush look pretty good. These were supposed to do that, plus give the tush a "lift" - that's a joke too. They don't hold anything in at all - in fact, they are so small in the legs that they accentuate my slim legs but also accentuate my stomach area and make it look even bigger! And the back pockets are so low, they're practically on the leg. These jeans/jeggings, whatever they are, make me look absolutely ridiculous!
I tried both the medium and the small - the medium fits better in the legs, but makes me look 8 months pregnant in the stomach! The small fits better in the waist, although they still make me look pregnant because the legs are so tight- way too tight. There is so much stretch in the stomach and waist area, there is just nothing at all in this fabric to act like Spanx - Diane's words! If she weighs more than I do, as she continually says, then I just don't believe she could begin to get into a size 2!
And as Lipstick Diva said, I can see the white on the seams showing through on both pairs of the black down the sides and also around the back pockets. And all but the black have these washed out streaks on the front inner thighs - I thought that was the way the light was hitting the jeans when I saw it on a couple of the models, but the dark indigo didn't look like it had that. I went back and watched the video, and in the very beginning of the video, one time, she says it's called "whiskering" on the legs and she also washed out the area down the front of the upper leg. Why does she keep doing that washed out look on almost every pair of jeans except the bright colored ones and the black? I watched several presentations before I ordered and didn't see her reference this whiskering - NOW I see it on the video, and in a 36 minute video, she mentions it once, in the first minute.
Sorry for my rant... I should have taken my own advice and cancelled the orders. Give me my Denim & Co How Smooth - they're cheaper, fit much better, and they are much better quality, especially in the fabric. I just wish they had kept the original boot cut design.
Bet you could never guess that I'm mad!

kittymomNC-The comfort waist made me dislike the TS. I have never worn elastic pull on pants except for the gym of course, before watching QVC. I am not buying any more of them. What a mistake the Denim and Co "how comfy"(how uncomfy) leggings were. They were so tight in the calves/ankles. They were a nightmare. I threw out all 3 (ugh) pairs I purchased!!!
Only button fly jeans for me. Dress slacks with side zip or front zip. I don't feel you get a good fit in the waist/hips with a pull on elastic waist. If you do, well, I haven't seen them.
I liked her DG2 Superstretch Skinny, so I ordered more of her jeans with ankle zip and modern boot cut with zip fly. I like the washed out look in the front of the gray color.
Horrible fit, Yes, with pull on elastic waist.
I canceled Isaac's pebble gray TSV b/c they are pull on woven. Sometimes you have to learn the hard way! I know I did...

I used to order them but every time they were way too big in the waist. She always talks about the fact that she doesn't have a waist, maybe that's it.
It's not like I have an hour glass figure! Good grief, there isn't much difference between my stomach and my @#$ however, there is some. I think also they hang too low.
I'll just stick with mom jeans. Well, not mom jeans.

They're both in the same size?
The demo they keep showing says the waist stretches up to 6", now she just said a few minutes ago that the waist stretches 6-10" - as if the confusion over sizing isn't bad enough? That extra 4" makes a big difference to me in what size I would need - if it's true.
That's the problem. Diane is not doing anyone a favor by stating she's in an xs. She looks like she's a 10. A 10 is NOT an xs. BRC can't be bigger than a 00.
Ita!!!! Bobbie Rae is so tiny..Diane is NOT! She can't be wearing an XS..They also say HOW MANY have been sold...but you never hear how many get returned. I'm done with her jeans..!

I agree with that... I looked at the reviews on her regular boot cut jeans a year or so ago (before the super stretch) and had to go through about 62 pages of one-star reviews before I got to just the two-stars. That's when I stopped buying entirely. I was so hoping that these would be like the D&Co How Smooth boot cuts that came out originally about 18 months ago. But no such luck - the waist is designed the same way, but the D&Co are not very stretchy, not even close to what could be called an elastic waist. They have just enough give to get over the hips and then they really hold you in.
I will NOT make this mistake again!
