I am not shocked by the Moto jacket - tight fitting with the huge wing like collar- People buy the line with millions of pieces of fabric sticking out everywhere, too. Everyone to their own taste. Maybe grandma will love one for Christmas, along with a motorcycle! It is all about pleasing your audience, and the Q audience is older women. Rather "edgy" for that audience, in my opinion. I see that the usual amount of "planted" forum people commented on this, defending the jacket. Hopefully, the New Year will bring about good changes in the clothing lines, and QVC will try to please their audience...which are not biker babes.

Nothing to be shocked over. It seems you are completely unaware of QVC's demographic audience. Lisa posted the link to this TSV Leather Moto Jacket on her FB yesterday and it's been crazy popular!! Some colors and sizes are already limited and might not make it to air when this jacket is shown on 12/5. So I'd say there are a lot of us "biker babes" out there that is looking for fresh new styles from Q.

I personally bought 3 of these TSV jackets and can't wait to get them. They're so stylish & classy. I love a fitted look. By the overwhelming popularity of Lisa's GILI line that tells me women are starving for more trendy clothes and not Susan Graver, Denim & Co. & Quacker Factory attire. I do fear though, once Lisa leaves and the GILI line goes by the wayside, QVC is going to LOSE many, many viewers. And the majority then will be just your "older women" as you put it. Lisa brought s*xy to the channel and will be sad to see the fashion forward styles leave with her.

I bought 3, too! I LOVE this jacket. I am also looking for fresher, more edgy styles from QVC, which is why the GILI line is the only clothing line I buy from on the Q. The VAST majority of my clothes come from HSN--much more fashion forward and fun! Also want to add that I am NOT a "planted forum person"--whoever they are. Sheesh.

Oh... I see just because someone does not agree with your fashion taste or opinion...then

I must be ""a plant"" or ""a puppet"". I love the jacket and the style is very flattering.

So Funny... Better go report my findings back to ""the boss""...LOL

I haven't seen this particular jacket -- that said, I am 65, definitely not a biker, but love the short, tight leather jacket style. I'm short and skinny, live in jeans, and it suits me. I'd probably buy that GILI jacket if I wasn't trying to break myself of the habit of buying every leather jacket I see (it's a sickness). I think I just mentioned this on another thread................

So you don't have to be a teenager to like biker-ish jackets. I think that D&Co, Liz Claiborne, Quacker, Linea, Susan Graver, Joan Rivers, etc., are aimed at the older buyer, so QVC covers all age ranges. I don't see any clothing on QVC that would attract teenagers.

I'm with you, tototwo! Very well said. I'm average height and only slightly younger but love this style with jeans, pants, skirts. I bought the jacket in chalk - my first and only for this season. From my perspective, it is all about how the fashion makes you feel and some pieces work regardless of size or age.

Everyone has different tastes. Your opinion may not be that of many others. Please remember that when commenting negatively. Even if you were the world's biggest fashion guru, it wouldn't necessarily make you right with everyone. Please consider this when posting.

Hey, have you seen real bikers lately? Old f a r ts on bikes. Really up there in age. They might start out young, but they stay on their bikes before they fall off and have to carried off to the morgue. There is a biker dive I have to pass by on my way to food shopping. Old guys in nasty looking rags over their heads with their "old ladies" as in literately old.

Yeah I like the little cropped jackets. I'm skinny, NOT curvy (I hate that word ever since fat women claimed it as their own). I've worn biker stuff for a long time. It's middle America now.

May I ask how you know who is the QVC audience? Your original post is ridiculous!! Yes, I ride motorcycle and you say "biker babe" like its a dirty profession! Get over yourself and your self proclaimed " know it all knowledge." This really makes me mad when people are labeled. Good grief!! Let's see if how many of these jackets sell today. In closing, may I ask what kind of "babe" you call yourself??

A lot of people down here ride motorcycles. The weather here is usually biker friendly. People who don't know me see me wearing leather, especially pants, and mistakenly think I ride them too. The young kids on what DH calls "crotch rockets" tend to drive way too fast and often in a reckless manner. The older folks on their larger bikes seem to be the safer bikers. Just one woman's opinion.
